Any Recommendations on where to rent a SUV/Van for our trip in April?

We are going to Disneyland at the end of April and we were wondering if anybody had a recommendation for the cheapest place to rent an SUV/Van for the week?

We are going (2 adults, 2 children in carseats) along with my parents so I think that the bigger vehicle is the only option.

We are landing at SNA and would pick up/drop off there.

We are trying to decide if it is worth it to rent a vehicle or not? I think yes because we also want to spend a day at the beach.

Any advice?

Sounds like a van for 6 people would be best. I don't know your dates in April but often rates will vary depending on your dates due to supply and demand. I tried Budget using BCD x474200 (travelocity code) and E-Coupon MUGZ029 for $30 off. Total inc taxes from Apr 7 - 14th is $272.84 after $30 coupon is applied when return minivan.

We are arriving April 21st at 10:30 (so probably wouldn't get bags etc until 11am ish) and then leaving April 28th at 2:04 pm (so would have to be at the airport 2 hours earlier making it around noon).

WOW, i was getting around $600 or more for a van. You must be a computer genius :worship:

I missed the Disneyland part since that was from MCO. Rechecking from SNA using same codes picking up 11AM and returning 12Noon I get $317.13 inc taxes after coupon is applied. You could book this and keep looking for a lower rate.

You'll need at least a minivan. SUV's (other than Suburbans) won't have enough space for 6 people AND luggage. You still may wind up with some of it piled in passenger areas, but if it's just for short drives, you should be able to manage.

Thanks so much for your help. We ended up booking that one :goodvibes: So far that is the cheapest by at least 250 that i've seen.

Yah, we were hoping to only have 3 suitcases and then carry ones for all of us. We will probably have to still put some stuff under kids legs on the floor. I forgot about needing space for the stroller too.

Probably do fine with the van, but you'll be pressed to squeeze into an SUV. For reference, we own a GMC Acadia which is considered a "full-size" (it's actually larger inside than a Tahoe). With the 3rd row of seats up, there's maybe 12" of space behind that 3rd seat. 2 large rolling carryon bags would pretty much fill that entire space. Or *maybe* 1 large checked bag + 1 large carryon.

My parents have a Dodge Grand Caravan, and there's at least twice as much space behind their 3rd row of seats. It still isn't a ton of space, but that extra foot or so makes a BIG difference IMO.
