First I was wondering if there were any current navigators for the 3-4 year set...I looked on the CC site but only see one from quite a while ago. I know dd would love certain things such as the look for Tink and the Snow White Doe Si Doe and When the last petal falls...and wanted to kknow if these were still available.

also - do the children wear name tags?

can they check in any time if they are already registered?

do you have to provide anything? (ie - in Flounders you provide diapers, wipes, sippy, etc)

do they pagers work off the ship as well?

We cruised in Feb/05, I have an itinerary for that age group at home and will search it out if no one else replies. My boys wound up both being in the 5-7 group as they allowed younger son to move up.
They did NOT wear name tags, COULD sign in anytime after registering provided it wasn't a "transition" time, did NOT need to provide anything and not sure if pagers worked off ship, we were never paged. :sunny:
They had the time of their lives. :cheer2:

Pagers do not work off the ship. They wear wrist bands. You can sign in any time after a child is registered unless it is a transition time (when they are moving from one location to another--you have to wait till they are at the new location and have done their head count) or if the child/counsellor ratio is maxed out. In that case you will be asked to return in 45 minutes or so...you can actually hang around until a child is signed out.

Thus, if you really want to be sure to be there for an activity, show up a little early. It is rare for capacity to be reached, but it does happen.

You do not have to supply anything. The activities change slightly from one cruise to another. You will get a child's navigator for the entire cruise when you board (when you go to pick up the pager). Be sure to go to the welcome party onthe first night. That's when the kids seem to make friends most easily and get to know the staff.

when we went last year (march 2004), DS4 had a name tag. it had his name, and a black dot sticker. other kids had other colors, i think that was their color code for certain age groups. he also had the wrist band as well. maybe they've done away w/the name tags? i remember we were told to have him wear the name tag whenever he came into the club...it's an oval one, w/the club logo (octopus?). cute! :flower:
