Any recent Amerisuites Calypso Cay stays?

Hi all. Looking for comments on recent stays at the Amerisuites at Calypso Cay. We'll be staying there the first part of our trip before the Dolphin and I'm a little nervous about staying off-site. Anyone stay there recently and can share an opinion re the shuttle to Disney and/or Universal? Was the pool warm? Thanks!
