Any reason why Nov. 13 and 14 should be busy?

I'm taking my elderly parents and REALLY need a quiet day.

You shouldn't have any problem on November 13th or 14th. They are the Monday and Tuesday after the Veterans Day holiday, so everybody should be going back to work and the kids are still in school. Typically Mondays and Tuesdays are the quietest days in the park.

If your parents are elderly, you might want to get to the park at opening time when the crowds are really down and then go back in the early evening after a nap. Then come back for dinner and evening. Check the park hours, however.

Another thing you might want to consider is staying at one of the Disney hotels. We prefer the Disneyland Hotel. It's easy to get to. You can take the monorail [I think it will be open then] and then you don't have to wait for the buses in front of the park.

We are taking their motorhome, so we will have to shuttle.

I've changed it to tuesday/wednesday hoping that it is even quieter.

Crowds aren't so bad, but they can't stand and wait in line for an hour for some rides.

They are 68 and 70 and plan on riding most things, it is the standing in line that will get them.

I bet your parents will have a blast. We are heading down on the 16th and tried to get my folks to join us but they declined! Have a great time!!!!!!

HEY FreshTressa -- sorry to interrupt -- i've been trying to PM you and your account isnt' accepting any due to being full :) can you PM me once you've had a chance to clear it out a bit? thanks!

Well, if you run into my family who will also be down there the same Tues & Weds (and also Thurs), you may encounter a very loud and sometimes unruly 2 year old "princess", otherwise, I've heard that it hopefully won't be too bad. :)

I don't think I've ever had a quiet day at DLand during the holiday season starting now November and lasting through December.

Thanksgiving and Christmas months are always the busiest IMO. Now that YOTMD's is under way expect more crowds than usual.

Take good care of the elderly and try to have fun :Pinkbounc
