Any reason to not link my park tickets in MDE now?

I have been booking bits and pieces of our September WDW trip as it makes sense. I just bought our park hopper tickets from the "authorized frog retailer" last night  and don't know if I should go ahead and link them up in MDE now, or if there is any benefit or strategy to holding off?

I've got the only MDE app in the family, though I'll have my husband download it and set it up closer to the trip so he can help with Genie+ and ILL should we go that route. Everyone has a profile on my app and I've got our on-site hotels linked up already. So I think I'm set up to make the connection- I just don't know if I should yet.

I know I can't make park reservations until I have valid tickets, but that seems to be no issue this far out and going at a supposedly slower time. I also know I will not need to modify the tickets with dates, adding on the water parks, or adding Genie+ ahead of time. If I need to cancel (highly unlikely, but we know how THAT has gone the last 2 years...), is having the tickets unattached to MDE of benefit financially with a third party reseller? Any other reason to wait a little bit?

It's probably 6 of one half dozen of another. No harm in doing it, no harm in waiting until you get to your ADR time or closer to booking park reservations.

When I've bought tickets from a third party retailer in the past, they came with a sticker that said that linking them to MDE made them non-refundable. That implies that they were refundable until linked to MDE.

EDIT: See below from the Frog retailer website (it mentions MDE):

Yeah, I had seen that and I wish it were clearer. Like, what does "modified by the attraction directly" mean? Modified as in you add it to MDE at all? Or modified as in you added it and then added Genie+? Throwing a verb in their parenthesis really would have helped. The Chat isn't live now (of course) so I sent them a note asking for clarification. Assuming I hear back, I'll update here in case anyone else has the same question too!

Update in case anyone else has this same question: I got a call back from Undercover Tourist and they said that simply linking/ adding their tickets to MDE has no effect on the refund policy. It's only if you link it and THEN make a modification- dates, extras, whatever- THAT will void their refund policy.

Which means I can get that locked and loaded in my MDE, yippee!

Confirmed for UT. I recently had tickets linked in MDE (but not otherwise modified) and was able to get a refund, less 5% per usual.
