Any reason for an 8am Akershus ADR after princesses leave?

I have an 8:05am ADR for Akershus in May. I made the reservation with the idea the Elsa and Anna could be a possibility afterwards, however, by May they will have moved over to Magic Kingdom. I have never been to Epcot, but I thought that the part of the park that Akershus is in is closed until 11am. So does that mean that for an early ADR, we just walk all the way back to the restaurant and when we're done walk all the way back to the front section of the park? Is there any advantage to having an ADR there before the park opens? I'm wonderng if we should "sleep in" and do rope drop instead and then just eat lunch or dinner there instead?

I would think with your kids ages that you would have early nights. World Showcase doesn't open until 11am. Future World @ 9am with some great selections for kids including the EP Character Spot. Breakfast over, head to Future World then make way around WS.

Also, keeping early ADR for me would come down to time to get there. (1.) On-site/ offsite? Car/ Disney transportation? On-site, which resort? Also, (2.)leaving for naps or just planning on leaving parks early.

If 8am ADR requires getting up @ 6am, then change ADR to later time.
