Hi! I've always wanted to go on a cruise, Disney specifically, but I've always been weary of sickness on the ships, storms, etc. Has anyone had any problems with the cruises If not, what was your most favorite part of the cruise? :cool1:

I was scared at first cause we have never done any cruise before and I didn't know what to expect. I was ready though..got my bonine and dramamine and the wrist band. I took dramamine and was wearing my wrist band when we got on the ship, then after the our first day on the ship, I stopped taking the pill and did not bother wearing the wrist band. I was okay. The kids also took one pill, but they seemed fine so, they never took them after that one pill. They were just fine.

My favorite part of our cruise... EVERYTHING!! I can't think of anything that I didn't like. I think what stands out the most besides meeting Cinderella for the very first time is watching the sea from our stateroom. It was very relaxing, very calming. Oh..though a lot of folks don't like Nassau... I actually enjoyed walking around the Straw Market. One more thing...Castaway Cay...what a beautiful island.

We're just back from the 1/15 7-day Magic, and the weather wasn't friendly. The rough seas caused us to miss Grand Cayman and Castaway Cay, and the rocking was quite noticeable. One night we went to sleep listening to the ship creak and the wind whistle while we rolled back and forth in bed! It didn't bother us but we did see a lot of folks with ear patches. I would not worry, just go prepared if you think you're sensitive, and don't be surprised to feel the rocking even on a ship this large!

Our favorites-- the shows: Disney Dreams, Golden Mickeys-- just great! Plus just about everything else (not the weather, but that's one thing even Disney can't control)!

We were also on the 1/15/05 Magic. One night the TV even slid right out of its cubby hole. Of course it didn't fall but what a noise. The rocking was kinda nice once you got used to it. None of us got sick but the rocking was the thing that surprised me the most. Today we noticed that we felt like we were still rocking. Our heads were a little woozy. I have to say the best part of the entire cruise was pirate nite--just LOVED it! pirate:
