Any popular places like Dunkin Dounuts in San Francisco area?

Does anyone know if Dunkin Dounuts or Honey Dew dounuts or another place like this is popular in the San Francisco bay area? I need some small gift cards and thought a place like this would be great, but here we only have Dunkin Dounuts and I don't think they have them in CA.

thanks, we live in the Boston area and have a lot of gifts to buy for people in the sf area. Around here everyone goes to Dunkin Donuts for coffee and donuts. I thought there might be a place like this in the sf area.

We are inundated with Starbucks and Peet's coffee shops. We don't have many chain donut shops. Krispy Kreme came to our area and didn't thrive. Maybe you could do a google search and/or use Yelp for the specific area if the places I suggested were not what you had in mind. Hope this helps!

I agree that it's pretty much Starbucks or Peets for coffee and treats. The donut shops I know of are mostly indpenedent ones. If your family lives in Lafayette area I'd recommend Johnny's. In the city I've seen some Happy Donuts. There's another one, but I can't remember its name now. I can ask my husband if your looking for in SF. I'm in the East Bay.

There's still a Krispy Kreme in Stockton area, but it's not one of the stores that makes it fresh. I was all excited till I got a box of cold donuts. Yuck...

Yep us West Coasters are deprived...no Dunkin Dounts. I was hoping it was just my area and that I could find them in the Bay Area or SoCal but found out that they just don't exist here.

We had a Dunkin Donuts in San Jose a long time ago (like in the 70s and 80s). It closed up many years ago and is now some generic donut shop. Peet's and Starbuck's are everywhere, as other posters have said. Now that McDonald's has entered the speciality coffee market, I know a lot of people who prefer to go there since it's a little cheaper.
