Hey, I am just wondering if anyone has purchased Disney Park Gift Cards at a discount or with points (though I guess Visa/Discover gift cards would spend the same) Costco, BJ's, Sam Clubs... Or Banks, Credit Unions... AAA or Employers... Amazon or Plastic Jungle...

I thought I read on another post about someone saving 5% buy cards at BJ's or some place... :confused3

Using a Target CC or DC will get you 5% off Disney gift cards at Target! :thumbsup2

I cannot remember 100%, but Sam's Club sells a $100 Disney GC for like either $97-$98.

I was told by other DISers if you have a Target debit card they will take 5% off the cost of the your Disney gift card. I was also told if you buy 5 prescriptions at target there is a prescription card which gets you 5% off what you buy that day so if you use both to get your CG you get 10% off. I haven't tried it yet but it seems you could save a lot.

I buy my $50 Disney gift cards at SAMs Club for $48. Not a huge savings but it is the only place *I* can get them discounted since I dont have a Target CC and don't want one.

It doesn't have to be a CC, I have their debit card and still enjoy the discount. It comes directly out of my checking account the same way as if I had written a check or used my bank debit card.

+1 for target. As others said, you can use either the credit card or the debit card and you can combine it with the RX reward to get a total of 10% off.

I purchase disney gift cards at BJs for 4% off. I use my debit card that gives me 1% back at the end of the month to purchase them. So that's nearly 5% off. Also when Target was having the coupon for buy $50 get a target $10 gc back I bought quite a few disney gift cards with that.

That is what I finally did, I got the Target debit card, not the CC.

Best deal for me seems to pop up early each June at Stop and Shops in NJ, they advertise it as a Father's Day offer. For every $50 GC, you get $15 in food coupons (Catalinas). It is a bit of a pain, you have to buy the $50 GC in separate orders, and use those Catalina coupons in separate transactions (I use self check out for the coupons must go to cashier for the GCs). This is like 30% off...... but those food coupons must be used up in a week. So I get some each day, and it works out ok. I got many Disney ones one year dor a DL trip, and last year I got $2000 in Lowes GC. (bathroom remodels). I may get Lowes again this time, IF the offer returns, to "save" 30% on my new kitchen countertops.

I am uncertain if the S&S $15 coupon for $50 GC offer will return this year, fingers crossed, but they finally started doing the gas reward thing here (which no one uses, as we have no Shell stations anywhere around here)
