Well, there have been a ton of posts here from people that think AKV was too dark. If those members told DVC that the rooms were too dark, that could have driven the changes. There is going to be more people saying something if they dislike it than those that like it.

I must be in the minority but I thought the refurbishment looked nice. At least it still has AKL character.

I thought that it looks nice, but the yellow toned tile in the bathroom doesn't go with the new look.
