Any Pictures of BWV Standard View?

My parents and I want to stay in a 1-bedroom at BWV next June. Ideally, a boardwalk/preferred view would be best, but we will probably get a standard view to save points.

I would really appreciate it if anyone could post pics of a standard view at BWV. Thanks so much.

Getting a BWV Standard View at 7 months is not a chip shot at any time of the year...it is very popular with BWV owners who often lock them up before they become available to other DVC owners at 7 months. I wouldn't count on getting it but would definitely give it a shot.

Here's a view from our balcony looking down the wing of all SV villas. If I looked straight out from the balcony I would see the BWV entrance driveway and parking lots.

We had a standard view....I'd post a picture, but you just saw grass. It was on the first floor and there is quite a hill from the first floor rooms to the drive.

We had a standard view, which overlooked the entrance and a lawn.

If you get a standard room, there are a couple of standards that you might want to avoid....the ones closest to the elevators (and the valet out front) are directly in the sound bite of the ME trucks bringing luggage into the resort at almost all times of the day and night. (Start @ 5am and go until 1am). It was SOOOOOOOO NOISY that even with the windows completely closed (and I hate AC, so like to leave windows open), it was hard to enjoy the room. We actually moved mid stay.

Of course, if you are deaf...you end up being close to the elevators!!!

Last Oct during Wilma we had standard studio 3133, no longer walk from elev. had view of lake to MGM and tennis courts. Great except for the walk from the elevators. Found shorter walk to bus stop using stairs.

In this photo, which is the end of the SV hallway - I was on the 4th floor way over to the left. The view was off the pond that you see there and it looked down the canal going towards MGM. The ToT was off to the right and we could hear Fantasmic and see the high fireworks.

I was in room 4133 - directly above the previous poster and it was a studio and the next to the last room The last room was a 1br.

I would definatly ask for "far from elevators" It was great to just hop down the stairs to the bus or to the walkway. An easy walk to the pool also. Ya, it was a hike back to the lobby, but hey - it was shorter than the walk from the MK busstop to the MK gate so who really cares?
