I am trying to convince DH,DS, and DD to go to the party on the 31st of October. Does anyone have any pictures that I can show them.

Also if I want to go on the 31st how early would I need to buy tickets?? I don't want to buy them to early in case something comes up and we can't get out money back.

Thanks

Hi -- I built my whole 2004 trip around MNSSHP on 10/31 and it was awesome !!! we had so much fun and got soo much candy but I didn't even take pictures -- i even had been buying all the halloween scapbooking stuff for months .. i was just to caught up in the magic of halloween at disney ... I suggest to get them soon as they go on sale as it sells out !! have a great time and keeping working on them they will come around to your way of thinking.. Michelle

we loved mnsshp so much we went twice last oct. personally i would NOT go on halloween because of the amount of people we went the week before and it was empty . everything was thje samr still got lots of candy but no lines AT ALL for any of the rides we went through the whole majic kingdom twice and went on some rides over and over again. it was so great that we decides to save a park hopper and go again. we are planning on doing the same thing this year. if you are going in oct dont miss it!!

I've done a sold-out 10/31 MNSSHP (in 2003) as well as a 10/1 (2004) party too. I enjoyed the very empty 10/1 party 20 times more. We were able to do all the special events, and ride the rides. We were only able to accomplish about 1/2 at the sold out event. Anyhow here are some pics from those events:

We went 10/31/2004 and enjoyed it so much we plan to go 2x this year. :) The parade is definetly our favorite part of the entire night and is a must see!

We went earlier in October and let our 2 and 4 year old stay until midnight because we were having such a great time!

Around 11:30, we went over to toontown and saw Donald (dontcha just love that pumpkin suit) and then I waited outside while the boys went into Mickey's house to play and they came RUNNING back out to get me. Seems that Mickey was in there ALL ALONE. It was fantastic and I can tell you that we will probably never get that kind of one on one time again!

We went over to Minnie's and got to spend a while with her as well. It was really a wonderful event. Mine were not too interest in candy and we STILL came home with a ton. The parade is AWESOME and the headless horseman ride was really cool! We rode everything we wanted to (most of it was walk on) and made sure to see the special wishes fireworks that were in the round and had pumpkin shapped explosions.

It is sooooo worth it! We are definately going to try to go again :D

You'll love it! I went on 10/20 of last year, and it was great. I picked that date (a Wednesday) because I figured it would be less busy than the weekend dates of the party. I was right, the crowds were light and we got to do everything. It was a great time and I am planning on heading back this year again.

Both parties we went to we found Toontown to be almost desserted after 11:30pm. With many characters still out right until the end. I think it's the best time in the last 45 minutes or so to have some individual attention there.
