Any other stores allow you to do BF online - and what time the buying starts?

For the past couple of years, I've been able to buy the BF items I wanted online from Walmart instead of waiting in line. This year, there is something from Best Buy and Kmart I want, but really would like to do online - anyone know which stores have the same BF deals online?

And if so, with the crazy new times going on this year, anyone know when the online buying starts for these stores, including Walmart? I know walmart has some things on sale at 10 pm some midnight, etc. will the same timing take place online? thanks!

Many stores do offer their BF deals online but usually not all deals are offered. It will be hit or miss.

The same is true for when the deals will be available online. In some instances the deals may go live as early as Wednesday night but you'll never know for sure.

One resource I have found useful is gottadeal.com - they sometimes get notice as to when deals will go live (I am sure some other BF sites get the same notification as well) but like I said, sometimes they are told the deals will go live at 2 AM but they go live at midnight or 3 AM instead.,,,

If there's something you really want, try to find notification on a BF site as to when the online deals are expected to go live and try and stake out the site and hope for the best.

Good luck!

I have never had any luck buying online, I could never get the purchase through.

Last year was my first BF shopping online and I loved it:goodvibes I don't know about Kmart or Best Buy, I'd see about contacting them for times or what will be available on line. Walmart started their online sales at the same time as the store opened, so if the store sale started at midnight, so did the online sale. I can't remember for 100% but I think the 5am sale stuff started at 3am online. Walmart had it in their circular if it was available online, but you had to actually click on the item and see the description. ie we were looking to get the band hero for wii and the online ad said available online but when you actually clicked for the description it said the sale price was not available online. TRU here opened at 10pm last year and the sales started at 10pm also. You had to be online and ready to go at 10! I had to refresh the pages several times during checkout, but was able to get everything I wanted through them. If I remember correctly Target's sales were not available online, neither were Kmarts.... at least not the things I was interested in. I THINK Best Buy's weren't either, but not sure.

Not sure if I helped much, but I would check with the individual stores/online store and see what they can tell ya.

Lowes was great online last year - advertised prices and free shipping. I don't recall if there was a minimum for free shipping or if it was with any purchase, but I was able to order online on Thanksgiving and save myself a stop on BF.

Sears had a lot of things online too but the selection was limited. I was after some clothing and there were few "normal" sizes available. Most things were only in stock in very big or very small sizes.

I'm curious as well. There are some things I would like to get from Walmart before they sell out at the store. If Walmart opens at 10pm on the east coast, do you think the online deals will start on east coast time as well?

A few stores do BF online if I recall, but they also have Cyber Monday which is a big hit with online stores. I scored a bunch of great stuff off Amazon that day.

I've done BestBuy on Thanksgiving the past two years and gotten the Black Friday pricing. Much better than waking up soooooo early!

Gottadeals has an online tracker that they update regularly:

Thank you! I had been wondering the same thing.

Last year, I shopped the Kohl's website on Thanksgiving day, then hit TRU website later that night. I did only a little in store shopping on Black Friday. Granted, I didn't get any super doorbuster deals, but I was quite happy with the deals I did get. I only remember being disappointed because I wanted a few things at Target that were already gone. I didn't get there until 8 or 9 am, though. At least I wasn't super stressed from being up all night standing in a freezing cold line somewhere! I remember one year standing in line at Best Buy for hours when it was maybe 2 degrees outside. Never again!

Happy shopping everyone!

I got a BF deal from Best Buy a couple years ago but it was not on their online site till after 8:00 a.m EST.

My girlfriend does all her BF shopping in her PJ on her comfy couch.

This is probably a strange question. For the online sales that start when the stores open, I assume that's eastern time? So if Walmart opens at 10pm, since I'm in the central time zone I should expect at 9pm my time to be able to buy online? The Walmart stores here don't actually open until 10pm central time, but the online site wouldn't go by that would they?

The online tracker keeps up with the times based on previous years but will update when the new times come up.

I've always logged on at 3am EST for Walmart but this year I'll start a few hours prior to ten. HOPEFULLY the tracker will let us know ahead of time.

Me too. I did so great I slept in on Black Friday. Its the only way I shop now.

Well, I'm upset. The two things I really want from Walmart are only in store and not online which is totally different than last year. so now the question is whether I want to go to Walmart at 10 pm on thanksgiving to hopefully get my items at midnight. It's like they are asking us to create chaos. If anyone wants to check if their item is online now, walmart has that info on its ads online now on its website.

How do you know that? I want the blue Wii but don't want to go to Walmart. I was trying to figure out if it said somewhere.

Does anyone know if Old Navy does the BF sales online? They've got a few things advertised for the BF sales in the store, but we will be out of town and not near a store. I figure I'll check on Cyber Monday too but since I'll be up with the babies at midnight and 4am (most likely) on BF, it wouldn't be too hard to pop online and order stuff.

It is available online, and so are about 7 other things I want! :cool1:

The TV I wanted isn't but I think I'll get the one at Target anyway.

If you go to walmart.com and goto the BF ad, click on the item you want to get - then click further details and it will tell you if you can buy it online or not - both of mine said instore only.
