I signed up in June to be our pack's "Popcorn Kernel" since our council was offering free home delivery to any pack that had a Kernel signed up in June and trained by September. I'm also my son's den leader (Wolves this year) and I work full time. Fortunately my DH has offered to help (a lot!) and I have the full backing of our Cubmaster and Committee Chair.
I'm interested in hearing about others' experiences -- I keep telling our Chair not to worry, she's afraid I'll completely burn out on Cub Scouts and she'll lose me, but I have my spreadsheets ready and we're cleaning out the garage this weekend, so I figure if I just stay organized, I'll be okay. Any tips from experienced Kernels?
Thanks!
Kim
