Hi Everyone
I just wanted to say that all of you are so wonderful! Thank you for sharing and understanding. We are going to start ttc from September. I hope to share here more often as I feel so much better after reading your stories.

Congrats, Becky! I have been lurking on this thread and thinking good thoughts for you guys. I'm very happy for you!!
I haven't really posted because DH aren't TTC yet - we'll go off the pill in September and start TTC in November/December. But reading your all's posts have gotten me very excited!

me--i'm on the fence to wait for AF or go for it. Don't know if I should be hoping for an "O" day or an expediant arrival of AF followed by an expediant arrival of "O" day.
We only have 5 weeks and 4 days where scheduling is not an issue. Grrrrr!

Congratulations, Becky! It's ironic because I had just started a new job when I found out I was pregnant with Kylie as well. I also did not get a BFP right away, even though I just *knew* I was preg. I got mine a couple days after a missed period. I found that the digital tests worked better for me than the standard ones.

LisaB- yes, this is my first pregnancy.
Not too many symptoms yet. Of course, I have been ignoring my body for fear of over-analyzing symptoms that were all in my head before I got the BFP!!
So far: my mouth feels like the Sahara- I cannot get enough to drink and my mouth is so dry. A little light cramping, and the other morning I had a bloody nose. ?? Weird. My breasts are still sore, but not as sore as they were a week ago (again, I just figured AF was coming, especially since I had 4 negative HPTs).

Carla, Happy belated birthday! I love the Snoogle!! We had to buy a new bed to fit it in with us. DH got tired of hugging the 5" on the edge in our queen bed, so we had to buy a king size. It was a sad day when I retired it under the bed at 8 weeks pp. I miss my snoogle.

Princess, I'm sorry about your inlaws. It's so hard already and to have non-supportive people around makes it even harder!
Jen, Sorry you have to wait until Monday. A date with the transvag is not fun, but I understand the desire to know what's going on.
Flyingbelle, I too am "out of the closet" so to speak about IF. One little question opens the flood gates and I spill all. Even the masterbatorium stories.

Man, oh man. Today is the first day I really *knew* I was pregnant. How, you ask?
I have cried all day! At everything!
DH and I decided to do a little window shopping at Babies'R'Us.... Here's what that was like.
DH: "Aw, look at this little bib."
Me:
DH: "Aw, aren't these booties cute?"
Me:
I've been a fountain. I was reading Jenny McCarthy's book "Baby Laughs" and BAWLED because her baby had a misshapen head.

DH and I talked a little again today about TTC now or waiting. I am so torn. I see babies, read these threads and I want to start again NOW, but then I think about the move and our finances and the future and thinking waiting out a few months to start trying will be a GOOD thing....
We are going to go forward cautiously. NO TTA particularly but will be careful during my most fertile time. That way if it happens it was REALLY meant to and if not then we will really start TTC this fall....

Hi everyone.

The doctor told me "your ovaries are misbehaving" He then said alot of stuff about a high FSH level and a low estrogen level...and when my world stopped spinning he said that I have Premature Ovarian Failure (POF) and that I basically have no eggs and would not be able to get pregnant...
I have had the weekend to let the news sink in, my husband and I have cried and screamed...we have told both sets of our parents (who did not even know we were trying to conceive in the first place), we have told our siblings and we spoke to my husband's aunt and uncle (who have 2 adopted children).
According to my RE my best option is a DONOR EGG and IVF with that donor egg. That means the baby will be my husband's sperm, someone stranger's egg and my womb! I guess given the circumstances the thought of being able to carry the baby and have those 9 months of bonding and actually go through the labor is a pretty good other option...
So tomorrow I will be calling the Donor Egg Clinic and we will begin our journey of picking an egg donor and then going through IVF...I am hopeful that the IVF will work.
We are of course terrified about the cost of everything...luckily because we live in MA - the IVF is covered by my insurance but we have to basically buy the egg (about $10K) and pay for the donor's medical expenses (lab, hormones, retreival etc...) which is about another 10K - and hopefully at the end of that process I can join the wonderful BFP group on this thread!
If our egg donor/IVF does not work - we have the option of embryo adoption or regular adoption.
I think we are going to put our names on the local private adoption lists now since the wait can be 1-2 years or more while we try out the egg donor/IVF.
So - that is all my news. I proudly join this TTC group...and I think after 3 days I am slowly starting to come to terms with the fact that even if it is not my egg- it is still MY baby!

Hi Nicole Welcome to the group ... I recently started sharing in here too and everyone is so wonderful. You are right about the baby being YOURS - dont be sad or give up - I believe that whatever our destiny is, it shall happen. The journey maybe long but it will be worthwhile for all of us. Hope to see you in here again.
Becky: How exciting to be window shopping - I would probably be crying too. For you, it must make your pregnancy feel so so real now - I am so happy for you and hope you share your next months with us

Nicole- I can't imagine the loss you must have felt, BUT- you are right!!! No matter how a child comes into your life, it is YOUR child, and you will be the most important person in that little person's eyes! I am glad to hear you still have options. WELCOME to our group!!! It's a lucky one!
