Good luck today, Becky! I am guessing girl for you :) Only 2 months until I can find out!

Pollito - CONGRATS ON THE BOY!!! It is so cool to have a son :) Any names picked out? (Are you tired of that question yet??)

How is everyone else doing??

Allison - how are you feeling? I was super crampy yesterday - scared me a bit, but feel a lot better today.

Carla - how's your wait going?

Becky should be at her appt right now!

I hope the little one decides to show her so she can have at least one early reward for all of her suffering.

We don't have any boy names agreed to yet, but we did have a few girl names agreed to. Figures. DH really wants a "jr" and I really don't, so he won't agree to any other name I suggest right now. I'm not worried, though. I always get my way. :teeth:

Michelle, I'm sorry about the BFN. :grouphug: I had an emergency lap. It wasn't too bad. I got drugs after. It was about the same as an egg retrieval for me. You all know I love me some anesthesia. :thumbsup2 I was sore for a week after - same as a retrieval. It'll be good to go in there and know what's what. I don't know if they can see the inside of the uterus - they usually do a hysteroscope for that, but they might be able to see it with the lap. Some times they will do an endometrial biopsy, but the treatment for those problems is injections like Follistim and Gonal-F, so I've never had one of those because I use Follistim anyway. Do they check your progesterone after ovulation? I'm so sorry you're going through this. :grouphug:

Becky! You'd better come back from that u/s and tell us first thing. :sunny: I hope the little person isn't shy! :goodvibes

This 2ww is killing me. I am 9DPO, 6dp3dt. I am trapped in the house - DH is having his car worked on and he took mine. I have no HPTs. It's brutal. I don't know what to think. I usually start spotting at 11DPO, so this weekend will be a big milestone. I find myself holding my breath. :) I get a pain in the girls (when I was pregnant, I got these sharp shooting pains in them) and I think, "Pregnant!" Then, I calm down and talk myself out of it. I have a sore throat. I got it when I was pregnant. BUT, I also have a cough, so maybe I'm just sick. :guilty: The cramping is minimal, which is different from last time....BUT, I've also been on different medications to try and prevent it. I've had a pulling/stretching/tugging/pinching feeling in my lower stomach - I got that when I was pregnant. BUT, I could have a pulled muscle from the cough.

I am going  .

Oooooh Carla - you are getting so close! I hear ya on talking yourself out of symptoms. You hate to get yourself so psyched because of past let downs. I hate that we can't all be naive about TTC and having a child, you know?

I will tell you, my tell tale symptom of pg is that I get a sore throat and stuffy, sinus-y nose. Still have the nose issue to this day (11.5 weeks!). I am so pulling for you on this!!! &&&&&&

Oh BECKY!!! Where are you ma'am??

so when can you test? I can't wait to hear the news, i hope all those 'symptoms' are really signs!!

thanks for the endo/lap info. they have tracked my progesterone. i did suppositories after my first IUI. my levels were fine for this second IUI, so i didn't need to take anything this time around. i haven't used the injectibles at all, since i respond super well to the clomid, 7 follies on only 50mg is pretty good, so the injectibles weren't even a consideration yet. if they help the endo that i 'might' have, then i'll do whatever it takes. they aren't cheap though, are they?

doing some shopping at Canton, a big flea market/craft fair they have in dallas to get my mind off of it with my 2 sisters and mom tomorrow! :grouphug:

thanks guys!

Hey ladies- sorry to keep everyone in suspense! :teeth:

Well, I went to my U/S appt. yesterday and as far as the woman could tell, it's a GIRL!!

BUT.

She said it was too early to say that FOR SURE (even though in my mind I was already positive it was a girl)- so I have to go have another peek in 2 weeks.

I know it's a girl though. I've always thought so. SO, last night I went out and bought a little pink and white Minnie Mouse outfit!! ;)

:cheer2: GIRL! :cheer2:

I am so happy for you, Becky!

Lisa - I can't wait to find out what you are having, too! :Pinkbounc

Carla - I can't wait to find out whether your little ones were sticky! If I could send you a test, I would. If both stuck, your HcG might be high enough already to detect! When does the doctor's office test?

Good luck tomorrow Becky! I just had my big u/s yesterday, and found out it's a boy! The chinese calendar said it was a girl for me, too, but it was wrong. This site, gender predictor was right, though. Give it a try and see if it agrees with the chinese calendar. Both methods said I would be a girl, so they were right at least once!
I tried the link but they don't have any 2007 baby dates available yet. :confused3

Beck- That's awesome :) congrats :)

<ps- I'll change your color on the moms to be list and then if it changes in 2 weeks just let me know>

Carla- good sticky vibes to you :) :) :)

Hi everyone... I know it has been a while, but it has been too much of an emotional roller coaster with this lately.

I figure you all will give me good vibes, but I have a BFP today! I took it twice since I didn't believe the first and both say it!

My doc office is closed for the week, but as long as AF doesn't show up by Monday I will give her a call.

I was really believing that this wasn't possible for me. That this kind of thing just wasn't going to happen.

So I just hope this sticks... and that I will really truly be pregnant :)

I've been lurking and been thinking of you all, and I am sure some of you know how hard it is to be around so many pregnant when you've been trying for months on end.

CONGRATS helenabear!!!!! That is awesome news.

I'll be sending sticky baby dust!!!

Congrats Elaine Now if we could only get the BFP for Carla to stick and Nicole for a miracle

I'm not sure why it's not working for you - I just tried it and it shows conception dates through Dec 2008. :confused3

We got back from our awesome WDW trip on Sunday the 24th -- we had a great time. I was sick with a cold though so there was not much BDings - some though but I don't think I am going to have any WDW miracles/souveniers!

The day after we got home from WDW I went in for my gallbladder surgery - it was supposed to be a routine same day operation but the surgeon perforated the common bile duct causing a bile leak and sending a gall stone into the duct so I had to stay in the hospital until Wed -- they were planning to do another surgery to fix the leak and get the stone but things seemed to have resolved on their own.

I am home now and feeling like crap. Was supposed to go back to work on Monday but don't think that is going to happen now until Wed.

Egg donor stuff is progressing. I sent in my insurance appeal before we left for disney -- should get an answer in about 2 weeks. Donor and I are both waiting for our appts with the egg donor clinic - should have those in about 2-3 weeks -- contracts are being drafted - should be signing those in about 2 weeks -- so things are moving right along. I am hoping (depending on insurance) for donors egg retrieval in Nov and implanantion in Nov. Hopefully things will work on the first try and I will have a BFP by the end of the year!!

Being in disney this year and seeing all the kids was hard...this was the first time I was there and really wanted one of my own and knew I could not have one so it was hard to see so many kids...I find myself increasingly more jealous now when I see a pregnant woman.

I hope it is my turn soon!! November/December is only a little while away!

Thinking of all you fabulous ladies and sending lots of hugs and good wishes and baby dust!!

~Nicole

I went for my u/s today. 4 follices 1 on the right 10 mm three on left 10 11 and 14. Lets see where we are at tommorrow. I think I am having Disney withdrawal I want to go back

Elaine! Congrats!!! Sometimes, you need to step away - even from people in real life. So, if you call on Monday, when will your appt be? My beta is going to be Wednesday.

Nicole, I'm so sorry you were sick on your trip and then had problems with your surgery. I was also "supposed" to go back to work this week, but as time went on, I decided to just scrub the week and shoot for next week. ;) There is no point in sitting there miserable. It sounds like the donor thing is moving along. I hope the insurance cooperates. It really doesn't make sense....they're not paying the donor, they're paying for what they would be paying for if it was YOU, so what's the difference?!?! This must be how they cut corners.

Becky....can you post a picture of the Minnie outfit? :goodvibes Do you have names you're kicking around?

Good to see everyone else hanging in there and doing well.

I started spotting yesterday. I was so upset. I told DH to bring me home some tests so I could get the BFN and have a mudslide. I was 10DPO and 7dp3dt. I held my pee for 2.5 hours (not the 4 they recommend). I did it at 6:30pm. Well, I sat there and stared at it, ready to cry, when all of a sudden, I saw something. Huh.....honey.....tell me you see this line and I'm not nuts. There was a line. It's not dark, but it's there enough that I don't have to squint or reflect it off light to see it. I'm in shock. I had to sit back down on the toilet because I ready to pass out. :rotfl:

The cramping is gone. The spotting is minimal. I'm am so sick to my stomach, I haven't eaten all day (or yesterday until 8pm when I ate a dry waffle). I'm not SICK, but I am really queasy all the time. I also have a brutal headache and it's sinus, so my Tylenol is NOT helping. I don't care. I'll take it all on as long as this is real and as long as everything goes OK with the baby.

I'm just terrified. So, I'm calling the RE on Monday to schedule my Wednesday beta.

This must be why I cried at the stupid Dawn commercial with the penguins. :teeth:
