So far, no AF, but I'm only 5DPO and 2dp3dt (2 days past 3 day transfer), so it's way too early for AF. I usually only make it to 11DPO during IVF cycles - normally, I'd get 14DPO. So, if I make it to 11DPO, I'm going to test.

Yeah, let the financial people deal with them. My parents are both medical billers and they have special numbers they call and contact people they deal with who are used to handling that type of treatment. We get the people who are newly trained. ;)

 Took me 15 minutes to get in here  bad servers :badpc: :badpc:

Carla I've been thinking about you all weekend. I hope the bunlets are growing as they should be :)

aces_babydoll congrats!!

Becky I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for you :wizard:

Not ignoring the rest of you but it's busy here and I'm a bit worried that the server will try to eat this post.

Leave in a half hour to go to the .... duh duh daaaaahhhh...follow up appt.

And shhhh...it's with a man doctor. Don't particularly care for man docs. I lucked out with a girly doc in the ER (if anything like Gray's Anatomy--they must fight for cases and the men won their way out of that one LOL!!!).

Hope they are nice. Regretfully I had to just find one in the yellow pages that sounded reputable and was at a location I could find with minimal difficulty.

So fingers crossed that I don't get a moron. I don't like morons. They bug me.

Aces_babydoll - that's awesome! Congratulations!!!!!

Lisa Loves Pooh - Good luck. Hope everything goes well.

Lisa - is your DH a crash rescue guy? DH and I are both FF/paramedics, but with different towns. He would like to do the airport FF stuff, but just doesn't have the time. Personally, I dislike being on planes, and don't want to spend any more time around them than absolutely necessary.

Thanks for all the advice for the insurance stuff. I'm a bit OCD about planning these sorts of things, so anything that is not easily set up and figured out drives me nuts. This is one of those things....

So I didn't test this morning - I'm waiting til DH gets home tomorrow morning. Hopefully.....

Jen

Good luck, Lisa.

I had a male doctor while I was in college, and I didn't care much for it either. At my yearly checkups he insisted on checking the back side of my uterus - KWIM? No one has ever done that since! I think he was doing it for jollies.

Anyway Carla - I have been thinking about you and your bunlets. I am keeping everything crossed for you.

Congrats aces!

Yeah Jen my dh is a crash rescue firefighter but they never have any fires or crashes just almost. He is also a call man in our town. Lisa I had a male gyn that was terriiffic and if he didn't retire I would still be going to him.

I had a very nice doc today. He's very conservative in his opinion and I will take it under consideration and then probably ignore what he said. (He said "wait" and I don't prefer to do so since there is no medically diagnosed reason for my m/c).

Everything checks out and we will get the blood test results tomororw which should yield nada.

Very nice practice I happened upon though. Two thumbs up!

Well, I've decided to jump back into NFP with both feet. I had been doing if for 2 years prior to my pregnancy while TTC, and I resumed charting my temps about 1 month PP, but now I think I'm going to start back with checking CP and CM as well (I'm now almost 4 months PP). I'm so curious how longit'll take us to get pregnant this time since it took a while last time...and I just pray that we don't have any more miscarriages.

For those of you who already have a child (or children), how many months PP were you when your cycles resumed? I'm still EBF'ing around the clock and plan to well after6 months, but I'm always curious to hear others stories.

My DH is a Firefighter/medic. :) We're both in the medical field...it fascinates me. (And DH was born into it...FIL is an MD and MIL & all 4 aunts & 3 SIL's are all RN's, while one is just finishing up her CRNA)

I nursed baby 1 for 18 months and baby 2 to age 3. Both times my AF came within 4 months. Just not "lucky" I guess in that department. I had friends who went nearly a year. I guess it all depends on your body and is very individual form person to person. You can chart and still umm..you know..it would be best to consult your coaching couple if you have one and they can rewalk you through everything and help you analyze your charts if your goal is to not conceive at this time. If it is to conceive, they might be able to help you analyze the chart for that as well. (We had a coaching couple for NFP--if you didn't, my apologies ;)).

Baby #2 was an NFP planned baby. We were successful on the first try. But we didn't follow all the "rules" for TTC that NFP lays out as we had no infertility issues before. (All my stuff is at home in Florida--but IIRC--something like waiting until CM and then only having intercourse every other day and refraining in phase I. We ignored those guidelines).

Well, I am 10dpo, and another negative this morning.

I don't think it happened. :sad2: Last month I got my period on 13dpo.

Oh well. I guess we'll try again!

Today was my first day at my new job, and I can tell already that I'm going to like it. So, that's good, at least!

Becky, glad the new job went well. A new job is always filled with so much promise, it is very excited!!!

Try not to think about the BFN. You still have a couple days... You never know...

If it doesn't happen now, I'll be happy to have company for another cycle....

Thanks Rachael.

I'm trying not to let it get me down (which is hard), but at least I am staying busy now. That makes it a little bit easier.

Carla- how are the Bunlets? I'm so thrilled. I have told DH all about it!! He thought "Bunlets" was hysterical! :goodvibes:

Hey all,

Guess I'll throw my hat in here...I'm Tracey (34) married to dh (30) and we have a wonderful but busy 3 yr old (betcha can't guess what his name is!). We've delayed having another one cause of some financial issues and marital problems, but things have gotten back on track and we're both comfortable enough to fulfill the dream of having one more. We had lots of problems with #1, tried and tried, nothing, tests and tests, nothing. We're one of those couples with "unexplained" infertility. Tried the drugs and nothing the first month, hormone levels too out of whack the second month so we weren't allowed to use the drugs and bam we got pregnant. Guess I just needed a jump start! I also read some of the books and really liked the "Taking Charge" one, but it was difficult for me to chart because I am a shift worker (2 days, 2 nights, 4 off).

So, we're gearing up to try for #2. Last week on bc pills, and just waiting to get a clean pap at the doctors but I've been spotting between periods so having a tough time getting a day that will work. We're aiming to start really trying in the fall, and would love for #2 to be our souvenir from our October trip to WDW for my 35th birthday!

Sharing the hope we'll all be "here for a good time, not a long time" :grouphug:

P.S. I'll go back and read and get caught up next nightshift!

You sound like a firefighter. We welcome to our group there are a great many people here and a wealth of information ie Carla

Did I say that I ended up caling the financial planner and she said to call the insurance. I did and they will only pay 80% if it has an infertitlity diagnosis. So now I need to see if my doctor will put my testing ie u/s beta etc as a non infertility code. I know that estridil is only used for infertilty so I will have to pay for that. Also once I hit 1000 with out of network providers it is covered at 100% but all my dr are in network. Also when the lovely governor changed to United Healthcare anything bc/bs covered they were suppose to and bc/bs covered diagnosis at 100%

Morning all!

I didn't have the heart to test today. :( Maybe tonight. I'm not sure yet. AF is due on Thursday, so maybe I'll just wait and see.

No QOTD: my brain isn't functioning properly and I can't think of anything.

I'll check back in when I get home from work.

I had infertility issues, was nursing exclusively, and didn't have AF, and got PG when my first was 4 months old! I call Emily my little Houdini.

I am a little nervous this month because I am on the pill and took antibiotics about midway through this pack. Yesterday I had some uncharacteristic CM which followed an unprotected BD (for the rest of the month we had been very careful). I was pretty relieved this morning when right on time the cramps started and AF arrived. Pretty strange to be posting this on a thread where everyone else is trying.

Hope everyone is doing well.

Hi kids!

Well, BFN this morning. :guilty: AF should be here tomorrow or the next day. The bad part is - since we're planning on IUI next month, I have to go on CD 14 and 15. That would put cd14 just after the 4th of July. When I have absolutely no abillity to take a day off. Why does work get in the way of everything else? Oh, well. Hopefully everything will work out for next month.

Becky - glad the job is going well. Everything else will fall into place soon.

ConnorsMom - Welcome! I'm guessing you're a firefighter, right? I can't think of too many other jobs that work 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off. Hopefully things go quicker with baby #2. It would be an excellent Disney souvenier :)

Carla - How are the bunlets doing?

Lisa - don't you just love insurance companies? The people that actually figure out what they will and won't cover must be specially screened for maximum nastiness. I feel bad for the phone people though. They're just reading what a screen says, and I'm getting all annoyed with them, even though they didn't write the policy, they're just telling me what it says. Still enough to make me a raging crazy person though. Good luck with them.

Have fun today everyone!

Jen

I'm hoping The Bunlets are hanging in there. I had some cramping last night. It felt like AF cramping, but it's way too early for that. It lasted for a few minutes and that was that. The only thing that stands out in my mind is that I've had sharp pains in the bbs. I had that last time when I was pregnant. They don't get sore, in fact, they're fine in an odd way, but I just get sharp, stabbing pains. Pleasant. :lmao: But, that's it. I know it's early, but I still feel like I should feel something, even though I know I shouldn't. :) I'm trying to bribe the cats to talk to them and tell them how much fun DH and I are and what a nice place this is to live. :teeth:

Jen, are they going to watch you with ultrasounds to know when to bring you in? Maybe you'll luck out and go earlier or later and it will cooperate with work.

Denae, if you ended up pregnant, I was going to say our fertility vibes just rubbed off on you! You know how they say women who live together end up with their cycles in sync? Maybe women who TTC around each other end up sending out vibes that reach out to unintended targets. ;)

Becky, I'm so happy you like your job. It's still early. At 13DPO, my HCG was only 15 and that wouldn't have registered on a HPT. So, you never know!

My OB/GYN is a man and I just love him. His brother was my first ever GYN and when he retired I just moved over to his brother. He's hysterical. A friend of mine goes to him and her sister moved from out of state. So, she went to him, too. He LOVES to chat during the exam, so he said, "You're Nancy's sister, huh?" She said, "Yup." He said, "I can see the resemblance." She said, "Where?!" :rotfl: They look almost exactly alike, but he just brought it up at a strange time. :) He works 24/7/51. He takes one week off....to go to (where else) Disney World!! :cheer2:

Well if the bunlets got cozy and implanted-that could explain the pain.

So POSITIVE happy thoughts and baby dust coming you way!!!!!!
