Becky, did you test? :) It's early, but we still want to know!

Lisa, you should ovulate 36 hours after the injection you took. The like to do the IUI before ovulation to give the boys time to get there to meet the egg. Much like men, it takes them a while to get where they need to be. ;)

I'm coming out of my medicated stupor to converse with the world. :thumbsup2 DH won't even let me sit up. Like women who conceive don't sit up for days. I got to see pictures of my embryos. They look like me. Unlike the last 2 times, I got me some IV meds and was pretty darn happy. :rotfl: I got to see the little guys (or girls) land in my uterus. It's pretty amazing to see. They look like Tic Tacs and they landed right next to each other. The worst part was having the full bladder. Full bladder + tools in the area = fear of peeing on the doctor. But, I didn't. :goodvibes Taking my medication to prevent cramping, but I'm so uncomfortable. I managed to get mild OHSS even with a low E2. :sad2: Thankfully, they didn't cancel the transfer, but I feel lousy. I am having some cramping, but I think it's....um.....gastro.

We should start getting some results in soon from all of the 2wwaiters! :cheer2: :cheer2:

ETA: Check out this site. It's so interesting.

Becky - yes or no? Curiosity is killing me...... :)

I'm trying not to test for a few more days. I think I'm 11dpo (who knows, really. The chart looks like an earthquake) I want to wait until DH and I are home together, but that's not til Tuesday morning. I'm trying to hold out til then, but I'm the most impatient person I know.

Carla - I'm glad it's going so well. Do tic tac babies grow up to be Lifesavers? A stupid question for you - I know Massachusetts has to cover infertility treatment, but does NH? Blue Cross told me they cover testing and treatment, but not things like ART. My doc says he has had luck getting them to cover IUI as a treatment, but I still haven't gotten a definite answer yet.

Jen

I would think that they would cover iui if it is a treatment. Try googling it

Jen, I'd call your 800# and just ask what they do and don't cover. Do you have a book on your benefits. IF tx is most of the time described in detail in the "not covered" section what they will and won't cover.

Carla, FX for you. When is your beta? Are you a POAS girl or do you just wait for the b/w?

Becky, dying to know if you tested.

Has anyone had a problem with their doctor saying something is covered at 100% and the insurance at 80%.

Okay call me a moron--we have opted to name our miscarried baby. Didn't like calling it "it". Saw this on a miscarriage support board somewhere out on the world wide web. Then hubby gets credit for naming 3 babies now and the next one is mine all mine :).

Also--aside from m/c this felt very much like AF---same length--but obviously with more "stuff" and even within my standard cycle lenght of 28-40 days.

So we will be TTC this month. Still have follow up appt on Monday.

But here's to TTC!!!

And Becky--we hope it is a Happy Father's Day for hubby!

Wow... I'm not sure if I should tell. You all are in such suspense, I'd hate to ruin it! :lmao:

Ok. I tested this morning, right after I took my temp at 5:50AM. First pee and everything. ANd............................................ Nothing. Negative. Not even a faint line. Boo. BUT- it's still early. I'm not expecting AF for another 3-4 days. SO, we'll see.

My poor bb's are still freakin sore. Like, no-touching-them-during- sore. Yowza. But- they were really sore last month too, before AF. Not this sore, but pretty sore.

Sorry Becky - try again this week though!

Lisa loves Pooh - I think that naming the baby is a great idea.

I did call the insurance company, but the girl I was talking to didn't really know what the procedures all were and such. I had to explain an HSG and was it was considered part of testing..... And for this, we pay a small fortune? I'll see if my doctor's office will call for pre-approval, and then I'll know for sure.

Jen

I know it's depressing, but I feel worse and worse every month that AF shows up. The first few months, I just figured it would happen next month. Once I started Clomid, I figured for sure it would happen that month. Usually DH and I just go out and do something fun to take our minds off it the first night, and then take a deep breath and start figuring out what we need to do for this month. Scheduling is a bit of an issue for us (we both work 24 hour shifts, so there are times when 4 noghts out of the week, one of us is working), so a bit of planning is involved...... How romantic is that? :rotfl2:

I'm hoping that the idea that they're going to start poking me with needles next month if it doesn't happen this month is enough to shock my body into behaving. :)

Jen

Jen--for me hubby came home only once or twice per month (working in DC while we live in Florida). So while we have no known fertility issues, we have some serious calendar issues. I leave at the end of July and we are back to our calendar issues :(.
I get disappointed when I see "O" signs and have no hubby around to do anything about it :(.

Lisa,

I wondered the same thing.. When Af came a few days ago I was upset. I decided I can't plan my life around TTC. I want to have sex with my husband for the fun of it... The last two months have been agh.... I am still going to chart, take temps and really watchy my cycles and see what happens. DH and I decided not to worry about it unless we're not pregnant by January..

It's too stressful and I created it.

Upon deciding to conceive, I emptied Andrew's toy room, so that could become the guest room and the guest room the baby's room.... Talk about putting the cart before the horse... :sad2:

For all of you!

Jen, NH isn't a mandated state, so it'll be up to your employer whether or not it's covered. Your best resource is your doctor's office. I have found that BCBS are loathe to commit to anything to a patient and most of them have no idea what's going on. I'd let your doctor's office deal with them. They call different people - people who actually know what's going on. I just keep asking my RE if they have the approval number and if I'm all set. Generally, they won't do anything without insurance approval or a plan for you to pay.

Lisa, I did have a time where BCBS denied they approved something and my RE swore up and down that they did. My RE got them to fax her the approval and gave me a copy so I had something in writing because I refused to go forward without proof. If you get conflicting info, tell the doctor's people and have them double check their information and confirm the coverage for you.

Another good source for insurance stuff is Fertility Lifelines. They have specialized insurance people who will call your insurance company and confirm coverages, co-payments, co-insurances, etc. for you.

Aw, Becky....that's OK though, it's still early. :grouphug: Are you going to test again?

acesbabydoll, Congrats! What a nice surprise! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc I hope you have a wonderul 9 months.

Lisa (lovesPooh), that's nice that you named the baby. We called ours The Chicklets and just kept it when we lost them. I hope you guys get your schedule together.

scifi, I never get a chance to POAS! I get AF early during my IVF cycles - like 11DPO early. I have to have the beta anyway though. It's on the 29th. But, if I don't have AF by Monday, the 26th, I'll probably test. :) The HCG shot should be out of me by then so I won't have to deal with false positives. Some people watch it leave, but I don't - I have no desire to spend all that money on HPTs!

Rachael, just think of it as being prepared!

I've gotten into a strange trend when AF comes. I hate, hate, hate telling my doctor. She gets more upset about it than I do and then I feel bad for HER. I can sense her guilt or something....like she feels like she let me down in some way. I usually give myself a day to gather myself together before I call her - then, I tell her DH first (he runs her front office) and he gives her the news gently. The good thing is, she moves me fast. No time to think. No time to feel sorry for myself. Just move it along.

DH has been talking to the embryos - he named them The Bunlets (his miniature version of Hunny Bunny). He's already telling me they're both boys - I say they're girls. I hope we get the chance to find out!

Okay Carla I am confused did af show up this month or not? I am planning to call the doctors office when they open this morning and talk to the financial planner. We used to have bcbs for state of ri employees; my husband is a firefighter with the state. If anyone is going to be in RI for the airshow look him up his name is Kevin Riley. He is a lt in the fire department not an Air Force LT. He will be working both days. It is really cool. The governor put the bid to contract and now we are stuck with United Healthcare. There call center is in Georgia and they don't know what the hell they are doing.
