Any other Canadians having trouble with the Walt Disney World website?

It's unfortunate that Canadians are having such a difficult time with or even getting onto the new site. I had major issues last week, but for the past three days I've been able to access the new site no problems (fingers crossed) and have been able to enter everything I can into "My Disney Experience".

While I prefer the look and feel of the old site, the My Disney Experience is a great added feature.

I haven't checked today or for the past few days but as of last look I was still getting the old site or glimpses of the new site. As soon as I tried to add any info I was tossed back to the old one though. This has been going on well over a month now and before I start ranting about what we as guests are paying to not even be able to access the site or call without being on hold for hours.. I'll hold myself back:rotfl:

It really is unbelievably frustrating and a very poor way to roll out their new website.

Still getting the old site here too as we'll. yesterday morning around 8am I managed to get the old site then poof....I was booted out and now all I can get is the old one. So frustrating

I seem to be getting both, when I go in I get the new site I attempt to book a restaurant I am then directed to a page that says server down and then directs me back to the old site.

I don't know much (maybe anything...???) about this issue, but I just can't figure out why it's so hard an issue for Disney to solve??? I have given up trying to get the new website again. Its been 10 days since I got it to work and now every browser is back to the old website. I was able to transfer my ADR's to the new website, and then once I logged out, I only get the old website again. I need to step away for a while or I'll go crazy! :crazy2:

Wow, I feel exactly the same as you it's not funny. I keep telling myself to just walk away, but I keep checking and trying different things here and there but no dice. We leave in less than three weeks and I just want everything to be all set up sooner than later.

I am Canadian I have had the same issues. I emailed Disney asking why I was not able to access the new site. I also indicated that once in a while I get a whiff of the new site.

This is the response I got back.

Hello

Thank you for contacting the Walt Disney World Resort. Your message was
forwarded to the Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Online team.

We greatly appreciate your interest in the new Disneyworld.com. At this
time we do not have additional information to share regarding the
availability of our new website to Canadian residents. Please continue
to check back for updates.

If you continue experiencing challenges, please contact us again by
replying to this message.

Sincerely,

I replied back saying that I still could not see it. A day later I received a phone call from Disney. The guy was nice. However, he did not give me a satisfactory answer. He just gave me The line that some things are directed at different areas of the world. He gave me no indication when it would be available to Canadians. I said it was very frustrating seeing things on it one day and then it disappears on the next. He apologized for that.

I suggest that more people should write to Disney with the same complaint.

That's odd when I emailed them I got a message from them saying they were aware of the problem and were working on it and gave me a link to try, it's worked since them for me.

Do you think you could possibly post the link they gave you? Maybe it would work for us too.

Ok, so I still get the old site when I am on my PC but on my ipod I can get the new site and My Disney Experience. I was able to check-in and see all my dining res. but I can not modify my dinner res. I want to add a celebration to one of them and don't want to sit on hold for 2+ hours to do it over the phone. Has any one else gotten on the new web site and can you modify dinner res.?
