Any one work for Bed Bath&Beyond.

Hi,

Does anyone work for Bed Bath & Beyond. Is the company good to work for. Do they treat there employees fairly.

I am thinking about going there in putting in a job application there. There is a new one open up soon here.

I don't run into another HomeGoods type job again.

Thanks that was kind of information I was looking for. I just got finished with HomeGoods not promoting from within and that's reason I left.

I am glad I ask first before I went to apply there.

One of my friends started working for them in the fall. She is retired & was just looking for some extra cash & to get out of the house. She's done all the managerial positions in the corporate world & just wanted something fun. Well, she LOVES working there. Just LOVES it. She has no ambition to become a manager there so I don't know if that will make a difference to you. She is a cashier & really enjoys it. She also spends a lot of money there! I think she's going to be needing a job to pay for this job!! That said, we love her working there because we got some really cool Christmas gifts from there this year!

My DH works for BB&B in mgmt, and I can absolutely say that this is untrue. DH has trained at least 6 people in the past 4 years who started out as hourly employees that are now in store assistant mgr or store mgr positions (he works in Charlotte/western NC district).

If an employee has the skills and the drive, they can definitely get ahead in the company.

I was at BBB this past Saturday and this one salesgirl was following me around the store asking if I was interested in this or interested in that? I was like, no thank you - I' m just here to get DD her American Girl shampoo....then when she checked me out she was all, do you want this for $3 or this item? It was getting comical - I told her I used to sell timeshare (true) and I never put the press on someone like this, maybe she should try a new career. I couldn't wait to get out of there.

My point you wonder? DON'T BE LIKE HER!!!
