Returning home from Disney is never an exciting drive and always seems very long, but this year we found a hidden jewel on I-84, exit 10 in Connetticut. The Blue Colony Diner has a 10 page menu full of delicious meal options from breakfast to pasta, soups, salads sandwiches and greek food. Homemade challah bread is served on the table and they have fresh baked baked goods the size of your head:banana: Service was friendly and quick. The restrooms were clean. And for a family of 4, all eating dinner, dessert ( to go, we were to full to eat any more!) and two loaves of challah bread, the bill only came to $65.00.
It's worth a stop if you are traveling and need a place to eat!!

That is so funny you should say that - we live in Ct but about an hour away from the Blue Colony - but whenever my husband ( or anyone from his business!) is in that area doing work they ALWAYS eat at the Blue Colony! I sometimes think they schedule work around it LOL!:rolleyes1

Glad you enjoyed it. I think their food and reputation has improved over the years. The nickname it was given in the past was "Blue Colon". :lmao:

They used to be BAD but have improved over the years. We eat there frequently.
