Theresa was looking through some old pictures the other day and came across the negative for this picture. I was wondering if anyone had any very old holiday pictures that bring back great memories?

It was taken in 1988 and we had only been married for 3 years then.

Thanks for the comments guys, anyone else have any old holiday pics to post?

Great pic Tony (you made a great looking couple - and still do ;)) - the only old holiday pic I have is not that old (taken in 2001) and I'm not about to post it because I was pregnant with Daniel and absolutely HUGE!

I first looked at the photo last night Tony on my computer at home but I couldn't reply as my PC froze, this was either a compliment, it wanted to keep your photo on my screen or the photo broke my PC, you pick ;)

This is Richard and I in 1991 on hols on the Kerkennah Islands, Tunisia. It was a last minute budget holiday to celebrate my 28th birthday and I remember that, despite the happy face, I had been throwing up the whole day!!! The following year we went to Orlando and the rest is history... ;)

Another 1991 holiday - this time in the UK. We spent 5 days in Dorset over the August bank holiday and it cost twice as much as our all-inclusive Tunisian holiday!!! Anyway, this is me and my then tiny kids in a castle (Corfe?). Happy days... :)

This was from way back when you used to get a free character breakfast at the stargate counter service at Epcot! About 1989 I think before I got rid of Andrew's Bobby Charlton look.....

Back in the early 90's Mum, Dad and I went on a coach holiday doing a tour of the Outer Hebrides in Scotland. It turned out that we had picked the week that the holiday programme "Wish You Were Here" had arranged to film a piece on that particular tour and for two weeks we were accompanied by John Carter and his film team.

I had recently bought myself a video camera and on one of the 'rest days' we were spending the day at the hotel and I plucked up the courage to approach John Carter and asked him if he would mind doing a short introduction to my holiday video for me. He said he would be happy to and as I got my camera ready he told me to wait a minute and walked off. He returned a short time later with his camera man, told me to hand my camera to him and gathered us all together. We then filmed about a five minute piece which wouldn't have looked out of place on WYWH itself. I will be eternally grateful to John Carter for making what I thought would be a one sentence introduction into something I will never forget - I haven't watched that video in years but I can still remember almost every word in it.

The lady on the far left is called Kay and we met her on that holiday and actually arranged to spend another holiday with her - she was one of those people that 'got' that you could be on holiday together but not have to be together 24 hours a day.

Another holiday I have great memories of is our first (and until next year) only cruising holiday, which we did in the Mediterranean in 1989.
