Any of you HH folk who have done the Shelter Cove

Tuesday night deal with the fireworks..i ve read quite a bit about it but dont know how close that area is to HHIR...Just bought sight unseen last year and now am going (with my golf clubs) to HHI next June staying in GV

Disney's HHIR is part of Shelter Cove. The restaurants and shops of Shelter Cove are just a short walk from the resort--an easy walk even for my 4 year old. The fireworks are set off from a boat that is located just off of the Disney pier (I believe the pier is closed during the show). Disney does a barbeque/pool party the night of the fireworks that ends just about the time the fireworks begin. The pool/campfire area is probably the best place in Shelter Cove to see the show. It's really a lot of fun.
