Hey all! First time Cruiser and doing my disney cruise soon!

We have booked this port activity and I am excited as I've never been snorkeling! Anyone here done it? How was it? Any pictures of the reef?

I did this excursion in June and it was so much fun! The people running it were really funny and knowledgeable, and I did end up seeing a lot! Coral, parrotfish, and even a barracuda [from a safe distance].

The boat ride out/back was absolutely gorgeous too! Teal waters, a nice breeze, and a great view of the ship as we left the dock! It was worth it for that alone tbh!!! Definitely recommend.

My family did it over New Years. It was a wonderful excursion. One of the best organized cruise snorkel excursions I've done. The boat was spacious and clean, the crew was so friendly. The equipment was good quality. The water was crystal clear and we saw a lot of fish. These pictures aren't anything that special because they are just taken with my phone in one of those waterproof pouches but you can get a little idea of the reef. For sure worth it if you like to snorkel.

Just wanted to write another positive review of this excursion. The staff were excellent. Boat was clean and spacious. It's very close to the ship - only about a 10 minute boat ride and you are still off the coast of Lighthouse Point (an undeveloped part.) We were there at low tide and the reef was about 15 feet below us. Water was very calm for us thankfully because I don't like to snorkel in chop. Delicious fruit punch/rum punch on the way back. So if you are looking for an excursion, this one is great.

All that being said, my husband decided to snorkel the reef off the family beach later in the day and said the snorkeling was as good if not even a bit better there. There is a visible reef right off the beach and they have free bright yellow snorkel vests that you are supposed to wear (to help the lifeguards) if you want to snorkel off the beach.
