Any Nissan Xterra owners here?

We need a new car and are looking at an Xterra. What does everyone think?

I don't own that model. In fact, I've never owned any Nissan. I'll bump this back to page one for you, though

It was my second choice...I went with a Toyota Rav 4...mostly because it was a better 'fit'....the cockpit/cabin design worked better for me.

I bought one the first year it came out and kept it for about a year and a half. I liked it fine but missed my Grand Cherokee so one Saturday I went out and traded in the X-Terra and came home with a new black GC.

The X-Terra was fun to drive. It did have more of a truck-like feel to it. And the seats were very comfortable. No mechanical problems at all in the time I owned it.

We have a 2003 yellow/black one. I rarely get to drive it cuz my teen daughters are always begging to use it. Their friends think its a Hummer.. LOL (I wish)

No problems so far. Very roomy and my girls say they feel safer in it than a car.

People often stop us in parking lots and ask how we like it. We get a lot of compliments on it.
