Any news on the new CS opening at the Paddock SSR?

We are staying at SSR in Aug for 2 weeks and I am torn between the Spring and Paddock areas.

We would like to be close to a CS, pool and bus stop (no car). I was intending to request the Springs section but then people said about it being the last stop and I am worried this could be a problem in August.

The pool at the paddock looks like it will be fab but on the map the Paddock buildings seem very spread out and I can't find any info on the size of the CS opening. Would like to know whether it is a foodcourt type or just a small selection of food and seating.

Thanks:)

Based on the size of the building, it certainly won't be a food court. It will probably be very similar to Hurricane Hanna's at Storm Along Bay pool at Beach Club.

I would not worry about buses and the Springs. We have never had major problems. If the first bus is full a second will be right along shortly.

Many just do have any patience at Disney.

It is not going to be a food court.

If it is at the pool area I believe the cs would have a limited menu and limited hours. Hurricane Hanna's is pretty much just open for lunch and has a bar but no breakfast or dinners. I like HH when at the pool - good food - but wouldn't count on it for food every day.

I'm having the same dilema in choosing which to request. You took the words pretty much right out of my mouth. Our only difference is that I don't care about the bus because we will have a car.

Without a car, I would probably go with Springs or Grandstand. Grandstand is the first stop for the busses if that is your concern...it is a relatively short walk to the main pool and CS area's. The pool is semi themed, with a water play area. While the Springs stop can get busy (during the rush times, like early mornings, etc) Usually you will not have a problem when traveling....and if you experience problems you can always walk over to a different stop.

With a car, I wouldn't necessarily stay at Springs...but maybe at one of the more outlying area's. Traveling in SSR with a car can get time consuming with all the busses and other traffic. If you are staying in one of the sections by the gate, it is much easier to get in and out because you are not traveling along the bus route.

We want to be within walking distance to the new Paddock pool. We will be spending more time at the resort than not so getting in and off of the property isn't that big of a deal.

Then I would ask for Paddocks or Springs.
