Any news on the new AK restaurant??

I just read on Allears that there is a new restaurant opening at AK around the end of July, does anyone know if this will be CS or TS??? When can you start making ADR's for it? Any info would be greatly appreciated...

This was what I found on Allears:

The new restaurant currently under construction in Animal Kingdom's Asia will be named Yak and Yeti. To fit in with Anandapur, the fictional village that is home to Expedition Everest, the restaurant will be themed as a rural village in the Himalayan foothills. The pan-Asian establishment will house both a table service restaurant that seats 300 and a quick-service eatery that can hold 200 customers. The restaurant was announced in February 2006, and is set to open in July 2007.

Making a restaurant that is both table service and quick service sounds like a brilliant idea to me.

I'm not sure but I think that I have seen some revised estimates of it opening in October. I know that when I was at AK in May, they were still putting up the walls and the roof was not on.

Yes latest reports are October. I was also there in May, and at that time, and based on my non-expert opinion there was no way it would open in July.

I believe I just read on allearsnet.com that they pushed the opening back to October.

Originally, Yak & Yeti was supposed to open this summer, but opening day has now been pushed back to early October. When I saw it a few weeks ago, it was still missing the second floor and the roof. They still have a long way to go on this one!

So, how far in advance do they usually start taking ADRs for new restaurants? I hope it opens on time. I'll be there near the end of Oct. and would love to try out the CS area at least.
