i know back in the summer SWA was piloting being a RAC at pop century... any news on how it went, is it still going on, and will they be adding any add'l resorts any time soon? (like oh, say, this week at ASMovies?! LOL!)
No, I dont think there have been any 'guesses' floating around as to when it will go 'world wide' . I have a feeling it will, but until it's announced, all we can do is wait
i was told by the DME/RAC person at the desk yesterday morning that it should be available "worldwide" after the first of the year!!
a note to those planning to use RAC: be SURE your luggage is there at least 3 hours 5 minutes prior to your flight time or your bags will be REJECTED!!! we arrived at 6am for a 9am flight, chatted w/the cm for a minute and voila! the computer locked our bags out! had we known, we would have saved our chatting for after she checked our bags in (and perhaps she should have asked?!)...
Oh I do hope SWA goes "worldwide" with resort check-in! Right now, I use SW or JB to go to MCO, but only JB to return, based on the bag policy. If SW's program expands, I'd be just as likely to use them, especially since their fares are sometimes lower than JB's, and I like their more flexible cancellation/changing flights policies better.
I hope they include DCL when they go world wide. Onboard Check in is so awesome. We're considering booking our return flight with USAirways just to get this perk.
Boarding passes delivered to our stateroom the last full day of cruise. We put our luggage outside our door the last night and don't see them til we get to Philly. It's so magical!
