It just seems like they’ve changed tactics with Round 1 for the last 2 additions - VDH and CFW. Cabins opened at $208pp on 150pts, then went to $191pp next. I can’t find VDH but remember it started more expensive and better pricing came next round. This was a pivot from VGF2, RIV and back where
DVC started with the best offer first, then raised subsequent rounds. I thought maybe they decided it best to let the die-hards willing to pay higher price fizzle out before moving into more attractive pricing.
With PIT there’s alot of people who just wanted to buy and start making reservations, unconcerned at the chance of saving $10 or $15pp next round. Could the new strategy be take these higher $pp sales first, then entice a larger pool with better pricing Round 2? I’m kind of expecting this. VGF2 was the last time they came out the gate with strong incentives (and free luggage), then raised price next round. Have they pivoted since?
