You don't have to have a REAS on your package to pre-book your Palo meal. You can do it online as soon as your package is fully paid for. You just need to have the confirmation number, DOB of the main member of your party, and then get a log-in name and choose a password on the DCL website. You can make your shore excursion reservations, sign kids into the clubs, spa reservations... you name it. All before you get on the cruise.

Once you are paid in full and once you are 90 days out from your cruise (if you're a CC member; it's 75 days if you are a 1st time cruiser) you can then do spa, Palo, and excursion bookings online (or over the phone with a CM).

Some folks pay in full at the time they make their initial reservation; I wouldn't want someone mistakenly thinking they could do spa, Palo & excursion ressies 18 months before their cruise.
