with the sale of BLT tomorrow to the gp does anyonce think they will be giving any AKV incentives? or do you think they'll wait? I'm planning on purchasing a starter 100 point contract but the only incentive they had was $8. off per point. if you bought 160 you got gift card and dp's. I hope they give something ap's would be nice

I bet DVC will be offering something in addition to $8 incentive at AKL Kidani....Economic conditions will dictate that something must be added to "sweeten the pie"..

If I were looking either to add on or as first time purchase, I would "hang in" for awhile to see if the 500 Disney Dollars is renewed!

They are still offering the incentives for 160 point contracts they aren't for 100 points which is what the original poster wants. The 500 chase reward dollars was only for 160 point contracts and you already had to have a Chase Disney Visa prior to the announcement of the offer to take advantage of it.

My personal opinion is DVC will wait a bit before offering any more incnetives to see how sales are going. The new fiscal year just started so they don't have to worry about meeting sales goals yet.

We also got 200 bonus points (we bought a 200 point contract) to be used within the next year (with restrictions of course), and we do not have to pay the dues for the first 6 months of the contract. On 200 points, that is nearly $500 right there. We thought it was a good deal, and DH only wanted AKV, so it worked well for us.

Yes you got the developer points because your contract was more than 160 points. IF you buy a new contract, not an add on for less than 160 points you only get the $8.00 off per point, nothing else.
