Any New In the Park Tours or Anything VMK?

I thought I had heard at one time that there was supppose to be some sort of tour starting up at MGM to do with VMK.

Anyone have any information on if this was for real or a rumor?

Anyone heard of any in park VMKing coming up soon?

When we were at VMK Closing, someone mentioned that they "heard" that quest cards would be given out by doing some tour at MGM.....idk, that's just what we heard, but never saw anythign about it anyway.

The VMK Manager dude Jim, said thattheywould still be doing holiday quest cards and stuff through different stores in the park. But I guess we never know what's going to happen unless it actually happens right????

The last word at closing that I got fromthe manager was that the computers and everything else were getting packed and going back to Burbank! lol! Believe me, i tried to convince him to share the cards in the case with us all there! LOL

The only thing that I know of youcan still get are the pirate pin packs which are sold at the stores. The only places they had them when i was there was at the Emporium, hanging on the pin rack in the front of the store, and across the street in the jewelry store that used to be attached to VMK Central.

Have an awesome time! The weather looks like its going to be awesome, but it rains almost every afternoon for a little while, so dont leave like the non-locals do! If you stick around the place seems to clear out and the rides are easier to get on! rofl! Have great time!

Just got back and the computers were still there. I managed to get a new title with all the regular goodies. Also the vmk pins were pretty much in all the major pin locations.

That is all that I saw. Have a great time!!

Personally confirmed as of the end of day, October 6, this past Saturday, the computers were still there (as was the "VMK Central" sign outside & the posters)...you could still create born in park characters. Not sure how long they'll be there, but you never know.

Yes they do, it's all the much wanted pirate Quest stuff. They come 2 to a box and are $14.00. It is a little brown box that normally hangs. I hope the computers are still there for you! On VMK Closing day we pretty much had to wrestle them to even open them. They didn't even turn on the computers until almost 10:45ish, and I think it's because we kept asking!! LOL
