Delighted to see that Miami beat the Detroit Pistons last night in the first match of the Eastern conference finals. Even more impressive is that Miami beat Detroit at home, so got to be advantage Miami.

Sure the pundits will say that it is down to the fact that the Pistons are tired after having to go to 7 games in the last round, but, if they were better they would have got through after 5 games like the Heat did. Also, as the Pistons are supposed to be THE defensive team, how did it take the so long to beat the Cavs, who have only one star player (albeit a VERY good one) in Lebron James? :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Last year Detroit edged the Heat in the conference final over 7 games, but I've got a good feeling this year, the Heat seemed to have developed this year, whereas the Pistons seem the same side.

For those not familiar with the NBA, IMHO Detroit are like Wasps in Rugby Union - they have an air of arrogance about them, which basically is not an attractive trait in a team. For those not familiar with NBA or Wasps, I don't know the football equivalent, but I'm sure someone will come along with the answer.

So, to conclude LET'S GO HEAT!! :cool1: :Pinkbounc
