Any members of the old Make up Clique still around?

Anyone else wish they made foundations in travel sizes??? I can seem to find everything else but foundation in travel size when I've looked.

However I will say that Makeup Forever held up pretty dang well in rain and heat in Disney

Have you tried transferring some to those litte containers they use to give samples at Sephora? They look like the round plastic containers for paint that come in those paint by numbers kit. They're leakproof when shut securely.

Of course, they're not as cute as a mini sized jar. I'm a sucker for cute packaging.

I haven't! I'm going to look into that though, I haven't got the sample containers from Sephora in a long time.

I am too! That's probably why I had way more lipglosses then I needd. :rotfl:

I want to share a find from Target. It's Glow Mist from Pixi. I've been using it for about a month and love it. I mist after I wash my face, to set my makeup, to refresh after exercise. I love how it leaves my skin feel supple and refreshed.

I will forever swear by Pink Pewter headbands, especially when you're having a bad hair day when it doesn't want to cooperate for styling. Highly recommend them.

Does anyone have a mascara that is truly amazing? I have short straight lashes. I just purchased They're Real by Benefit. It's thebest I've tried so far but not quite "amazing."

I broke down and bought a blue liner from UD because no other brand has longevity and I love it. It lasts several hours and pairs great with my kat von d blue. It made my 80s costume awesome.

Also it looks like Christmas sets are out at both Ulta and Sephora. I'm however looking forward to the 20% off next weekend at Sephora.

I really love Too Faced Better than Sex. I've used it for years and it never disappoints. I recently started using Stila's Huge Extreme Lash which I like a lot too.

So plan was to go to Sephora today at my mall, well today also happened to be grand opening of the new ulta mall at the same mall. Scored a $25 gift card and got smashbox eyeshadow primer, a new comb and my formula face cleanser...normally $32 paid $4

Then went to Sephora with my 20% off and got becca skin highlighter. Very soft going to have to experiment more with it. Got a new bite color called vigante I believe. Not a hot pink but not soft either. Then got my usual foundation, primer, powder, face wash and scrub, lip wipes from bite. Did fairly well there and the free bag for vib is awesome!

FYI getting two travel size of the makeup forever primer is cheaper then the 1 oz

I posted earlier asking for mascara recommendations. Today I came across a blogger who mentioned that she sprays a little hairspray on her fingers then gently wipes them on her lashes. She then uses an eyelash curler that has been gently heated with a hair dryer. All I can say is Wow! My lashes look so long!!!

My first attempt at using false lashes was an epic fail. I followed the instructions EXACTLY and also had researched on-line; all the information said to apply eye make-up first and then put them on. It seemed really counter-intuitive; not sure how the glue was supposed to adhere on top of moisturizer, foundation and shadow. Should I have ignored that and put them on my bare lids? Would self-adhesive lashes be easier? As I age I'm finding my lashes so much sparser than they used to be - I really want to master the use of this product. TIA for any tips.

No, and I probably never will; I'm too cheap. Plus, I know of several people that seem to make the falsies work - have you tried them?

I haven't, my salon does them and they actually look really good. Lash extensions aren't something I need, they are long enough naturally :rotfl:

:( Wait 15 or 20 years - I am literally shocked at how different my are. I never would have dreamed in a million years this would be a problem for me.
