Any major events at Disneyland the week of Dec 6th?

Hi there! We're planning a trip to Disneyland, but would like to go at a time when it is both cool and when there are minimal crowds. I have health issues that make long lines very hard and I don't want to rent an ECV (too much pride on my part). We're looking at the week that begins on December 6th. I know that there are all kinds of groups that meet at Disneyland throughout the year; Brazilian groups, gay groups, cheerleader groups and whatever else. I have nothing against any group celebrating at Disneyland, but I would love to go when there are fewer people and and that is the only reason I ask. I actually fall into one of the above named categories, so believe me, it is not about prejudice, it is merely wanting small crowds and short waits for attractions! So I was wondering if anybody could tell me if that week brings any conventions or groups that I should know about?

Candlelight Processional is happening on Dec 6th and 7th, so that will bring larger than usual crowds to the park both days. While CP is happening, other areas of the park won't be too bad, but Main Street will be packed.

Also, Dec 8th and 9th are the Cast Member parties. Disneyland closes at 6PM (fireworks at 5:45), but DCA will stay open until 9PM. We went during CM party time last year and it wasn't too bad - but then we were traveling with a 4 year old, so leaving at 6, having dinner, then doing DCA for a bit worked out just fine for us. If you do this and want to eat anywhere in DTD, I recommend reservations - once DL clears at 6 almost everyone decides to go for dinner!
