Any luck with ressies 45 days out?

I have been wanting to add a couple of days to our trip for about 3 months now. And just was not able to until 2 days ago.

Of course now the restaurants I look at for 2 additional breakfasts have nothing available.

Have people had luck in getting a spot with persistance?

I'm trying for Akershus and 1900 Park Fare. Second choices are 'Ohana's and Cape May Cafe.

Oddly enough, I forgot to change the date for Akershus, and it's showing available breakfast at 8:20am TODAY! LOL

I say keep trying. WE are leaving on a surprise trip in the middle of August and late last night/early this morning (like 3AM!!). I finally found the ressie I wanted. So I am HAPPY!!!!

I managed to snag an 8:15 AM for 1900 Park Fare on the day I wanted - just a few minutes ago!

Now I just need to keep at Akershus over-and-over for breakfast.

And my husband's face lit up when he saw Chip & Dale at the Garden Grill, so now I'm trying for dinner there on our 2nd Epcot Day.

We booked our trip 39 days out. I thought it would be impossible to get the meals I wanted since we're going the week free dining starts. I was able to get everything I wanted, including:

Crystal Palace before MK opens
Chef Mickey's for breakfast
Le Cellier for lunch
1900 Park Fare for dinner
CRT for dinner

On my last trip I was able to book Chef Mickey's and Le Cellier 7 days out. Keep trying!

I was able to snag a few adr's for our Sept trip just last weekend. Keep trying, you could get lucky..

Yes last year i was online practically all day long checking for cancellations. In the end i did get everything i wanted and some of them two reservations at the popular places.

I've been messing around with reservations for 3rd week in September...during Free Dining...and on a weekend, too. It will be 45 days on Tuesday. I have had multiple choices/multiple time choices with every meal. Have cancelled/booked/changed about a thousand times. We're mostly going to be in Epcot, so concentrating most reservations there...of course Le Cellier fully booked (but I wasn't looking to go there this trip) and a couple of time slots Coral Reef also booked. But 10-15 other choices in Epcot or Epcot area resort restaurants. Free Dining is NOT filling up all the restaurants. I suppose the character meals are booked, but if you're not desparate for character meals, there's tons of options.
