Any luck using the 40% pin at the Contemporary?

We received a 40% off pincode and are planning a trip in February. Our dates are not flexible due to work.

We decided on the Contemporary, however, when I telephoned they advised me that the only rooms available for the pincode were club level rooms. The website shows regular tower rooms available for our dates, but the CM couldn't apply the code.

I've always said I would never, ever pay for club level since I don't see the value or the appeal, so we booked the Poly. As I got off the phone, however, DH had a big pout and started muttering about his dream to stay in the monorail hotel. 5 minutes later I phoned back and booked the silly club room at the CR (Bay lake view). I would really prefer a standard theme park view room.

I'm prepared to keep phoning back to try to get a standard room if others tell me they have been able to book non-club level rooms at the CR using the pincode.

Definitely keep trying. They might have rooms available at rack rate (which is why you are seeing them online) but not any more available with your 40% code. If someone calls & cancels, you can grab up their room, so check back every now and then & see if there is availability!

My sister got a pin code in an email, and you can book online with the link. They had a lot of availability at Contemporary for May. Did you try online with the code? What are the dates, i can have her check.

I agree with the above. I got the pin offer via email and was surprised I could click the link in the email to book online. I did end up booking via telephone, but it was helpful to check resort availability and prices online before calling. So keep checking, most definitely!

Not all of the pin code offers had the link. Mine did not and I had to book over the phone. The offer even said, call the following number and have your pin code ready.

We booked at the CR in February using our 40% off code. They had all rooms available using the code except MK view rooms.

Each resort only has a select number of rooms set as side for each special deal, so that's something else to remember.

Thanks everyone. I went back and checked the pincode email -- it did not have the link, only the phone number. I can't check online. I'll just have to keep bothering the CM's by telephone.

I would keep calling back. If your pin code does not specifically state club level only then it is offered for all types of rooms.
Which week are you trying to go? It's very possible the MK tower rooms are already gone. They go very quickly. When I stay there I book 11 mos in advance and haven't always been able to get my room of choice.

When I called, I had a MK view room and a MK CL view room already booked and I wasn't allowed to apply the code to either room, I had to change to CL Bay Lake View for both room to get the 40%. They also offered a garden wing room and a standard room in the tower.
