A friend of mine suggested paid online surveys as a way to help pay for the rising gas prices, etc.. I checked online and there are lots of them, but, how do you know which ones are legitimate? I would like to take a trip to WDW this year, but, unless I can find a way to make extra $ ...? Thanks for any suggestions. J. Cricket

I use pinecone. You get $3 a survey and I get several a month. You get into it by finding a baner for it (but keep checking this board, people post links all the time)

i've been a member of pinecone for 2-3 years, and rarely get a survey from them anymore. i go through sunshine rewards and in 2 months i've made $134.65 doing surveys, shopping through SR and free offers :)

I do Pinecone too. Does Sunshine Rewards require you to sign up for lots of offers?

I joined Pinecone about 6 months ago and have yet to get a survey from them. Maybe they forgot they accepted me. :confused3

Pinecone. You can choose $5 per survey or $3 and be entered into a $500 drawing. Also periodically you might receive free samples and asked to report back. It's really cool.

mysurvey.com is a good one. You build up points but the surveys are quick and easy. For every 1000 points you can get $10. Testspin is another one that I do. I get several surveys a day but don't always qualify. There you get amazon credits. They say they are going to add paypal. I am ready for that. I do pinecone for the $5 surveys and SR is great for online shopping and doing the paid clicks. As long as you aren't paying to join, then that is a plus.

I see a lot of posters have suggested pinecone. You can use this link to get to the banner to sign up. Click the link for Signup for Pinecone USA.

There is a lot more information on that site. Here is a list of reviews of over 700 survey sites. Some good information here.

Personally, I use Pinecone and Sunshine Rewards for surveys. I have used e-poll, e-rewards and lightspeed panel. I stopped using them because they took too long to accrue rewards or the rewards were not worthwhile(how many magazine subscriptions can a person have???). Good luck!

SR doesn't make you do anything you don't want to do. :) If all you want to do is try for surveys, you can do that. You can do one Daily Opinion Survey a day (sometimes it can take awhile to get one, and some days you might not qualify at all) and you can try for an OTX survey each day. If you become a Super Member you then get access to one more survey.

I also do surveyspot; most of their surveys are just for spins in their sweepstakes, but they do send out paid surveys sometimes, too.

You just have to be careful to not do the same survey in two places.

as bumbershoot said, SR doesn't require you to do anything. i do an offer if the incentive is high enough and/or the offer is crediting well and thus far, i haven't been signed up for anything i didn't want. i've had really great luck qualifying for surveys and if you get the daily survey and the otx survey each day, that's $1.55/day for maybe 30-40 mins of your time that you probably would've spent on the computer anyway.

I didn't know you had that option! I just thought it was $3/survey.

Is it somewhere in your profile you can change or did I just miss it in the agreement when I signed up?

I think musclemouse is mistaken. Because I have never heard of this before. I know Pinecone was giving $5/survey when I signed up. Shortly after, they lowered the rate to $2/survey, then they upped the rate to $3/survey. And that has been the rate ever since.
