Hi everyone,
Just wondering if any of you who have booked a land and sea package were to have stayed at CBR beforehand. We're booked from Dec 5 - 12, on the Wonder for the four-day cruise beginning the 8th.

We've been told by our DIS agent that we will need to switch to either POR or POFQ but we will be waiting to see if we can upgrade. Has anyone received offers yet?

Thanks!!

CBR/Wonder January 2001

We were booked for 2-nights at CBR on Oct.17, before our cruise on the 19th.
We had a room for $99, without tax.
Disney offered us a moderate resort at same price or AKL or Wilderness Lodge at $129 including tax. Standard view

They also offered Savannah view at AKL or Polynesian for $139 I think.

And, a Wilderness Cabin for $129.

We were happy to grab a Wilderness Lodge room.

Hope this helps.
Krista

ps, we were booked through DU and our agent took care of it all!!

Mivvers, it may be too soon for your cruise, but I can tell you that for some land/sea cruisers in September I was able to get them an upgrade at NO cost to the Polynesian for the land portion of their trip! The Swan/Dolphin and Wilderness Lodge were also choices for that cruise. So don't give up hope, it's very possible you will get the same offer when it's a little closer to your cruise date! :)

I also was able to get some clients rebooked at the Polynesian for an additional charge of only $60.00 total for their 6 night stay.
For some of my other clients they didn't offer any upgrade, just the alternate moderate resort. I really think they are just taking it on a case by case basis! Good luck, push for that upgrade!

We were booked into POFQ for our land/sea when it closed earlier this year. We were originally just offered CBR or POR, but then our TA (Costco) called back and told us she could get us into the Dolphin for no extra charge (we took her up on that). Then when POFQ reopened they offered to let us go back to our original reservation there (we did not take her up on that offer).

Thanks for all the info, that is so helpful!

Our Dreams Unlimited agent, Beth, is going to wait and see what Disney has to say when she returns from her holidays (she's wonderful, by the way).

We loved CBR in January and are taking my parents in December for their first trip. I was a little upset at first but now I'm really excited about the possibility of staying somewhere else.

Let the countdown begin!!!!
Maureen :D

How long will the CBR be out of commision? I'm staying there before my cruise in early Feb.

They are planning to have it completed by December for the Holiday Season. I'd say you are just fine for Feb.!!
