Ok-this may sound a little odd. I was curious to know if certain blood tests would show that I am NOT taking a medication prescribed to me?
I'd rather not posts the whats and why's directly on the board, so if you feel you can help me please respond and I will PM you, or PM me...I will give any and all information you need to help me...
Sorry for the lack of details...but I thank anyone who may be of help!!!

I just want to add, before I am asked-The medicine is NOT vital to my health and well being, and I can explain why-if you can help me, I'd be happy to :)

It depends.

Some medications produce detectable drug levels in the blood, and there are assays (lab tests) that determine those levels. Typcial examples include many of the seizure meds (anticonvulsants such as phenobarbital), some heart meds (digitalis), and drugs of abuse (cocaine, alcohol).

Other meds do not need to be monitored with blood levels, or no assays exist to test for them.

Thanks everyone for all the replies and PM's! I actually got all the info I needed within only a few hours!!
I really appreciate everyones answers and concern...I knew the DIS CB was the right place to turn!
