Any Jerry Maquire experts out there?

I have some questions, and don't have quick access to the movie, and need the answers soon.
1) Doesn't Cuba Goodings' character lecture Jerry about dating single moms? What are the details of that?
2) Does Jerry marry Dorothy because of the kid?
3) What happened to the kid's father?
4) When Jerry goes back to her, is it because he sees Cuba Goodings' character and his wife and sees how nice it is to have someone? or?

Any help would be great.

nope, not homework. I'm not blessed with children. It's a work-work assignment, kind of.

1. He goes into a whole "stealing the poody" talk. Jerry denies he's stealing the poody, then agrees he is.
2. No. She decides to leave because the company is going under, he can't afford her anymore, and she landed a new job out of town. He says they can save money if she marries him (I think because of health care) and asks her right as she's about to get in the U-Haul to leave.
3. He died.
4. It's because he realizes that she "completes" him after listening to Cuba talking to his wife on the phone.
