Anyone have any input/help regarding weather for June? I thought it usually was very sunny with only brief afternoon showers in June, but weather.com looks like rain is indicated every day. Does it always look like this because of the afternoon showers each day? We are really hoping for sunny weather!!!!

I'm a weather worrier too. Just got back from a 10-day trip and it rained 5 and a half of those days. Very unusual one of the locals told me. Even rained on our Fantasmic night and cancelled it. (We had purchased the package and everything.) :umbrella: If you told me before we left that we were going to see this much rain, I would have been SO depressed...but here's the good news:

IT DIDN'T BOTHER US or stop us from our original plans! (except Fantasmic, which we got to see later in the week anyway.) We just threw on those ponchos and pushed forward! No crowds, no blazing heat from the sun, no worrying about "where's my sunglasses", and no constant application of sunscreen! It was great! You'll still have a great time...most of the attractions are indoors anyway! :Pinkbounc

We just got back from 11 days in ORL and it rained the most I have ever seen in ORL. It altered our plans a little but like the previous poster said, throw on your poncho and keep going.

A word of caution....my mom dislikes the ponchos and instead carried an umbrella....that was no problem until we were sitting in the new lights, motor, action show and the cast members were telling people to put down their umbrellas because they attract lightning. Fortunately for us we didn't have the umbrella with us at the time but some others were very upset as they got soaked waiting for the show to start.

Thanks for the encouragement!! It is a good reminder from you and Kanga1 that a rainy day at Disney, is better than a perfect sunny day anywhere else!! Thank you! :goodvibes

We went during the last week of June last year. I was so discouraged when watching the forcast before we went, which predicted rain every day! It ended up only raining once for about 20 minutes. I'll wish the same for you! :)

I was just watching the tropical storm update. Looks like the poor Fl residents are going to float away if this keeps up! At least it looks like it will pass through before we arrive on Monday. You guys are all so great! Thanks for the good thoughts!
