Any info on New England- Canada cruises?

A friend of mine is interested in cruises around New England up through Nova Scotia and Canada during the summer season. What she needs to know is which cruise lines go up that way. Also, which one is the best. We've done some searches but aren't coming up with a lot.

We did one -- Carnival -- when I was a teen. In the fall, which was awesome because the leaves were changing. The only caution I have -- NYC harbor is ROUGH. Not good for those who get sea sick.

We took a Princess cruise last summer that went to Canada/New England. Loved the cruise, but weren't thrilled with the ports.
