ANy info on Costa Maya yet?

Have any of the DCL cruises gone to Costa Maya yet? We're considering one of the special westerns but don't know anything about that port. Does the ship dock there or tender in? Is it a good port to get out at? Is Grand Cayman gone foe good?

The Magic went to Costa Maya this fall while Grand Cayman was recovering from Ivan. DD said it was very pretty and not as commercial as some of the other ports. Don't know how long that will last as more ships dock there.

They have a dock so no tendering.

You do not have to tender.....the dock is very long and has a tram that takes you from the ship to end of the dock.

I booked the 1st 'double scoop of cc' cruise, going to CM on blind faith... am new to DCL, but everyone says that CC is the best part anyway... so I look at CM this way- if its terrible, get back onboard and pretend you're at sea... the pools will be emptier, and the crowds will be lessened. I could go on a 7-day cruise to nowhere and be perfectly happy!!
