Any incentives for potential buyers to stay in a DVC Villa (instead of just a tour)?

We are planning a trip for Jan 2010. Does Disney offer any discounts/incentives/upgrades for those considering DVC ownership.

Not normally. There have been some incentives in the past to use part of your current stay towards the down payment (we did that in 1997 and I haven't seen that one since 1997). Also members could invite friends to stay at OKW or SSR during a limited time frame for a slightly reduced price (I think it was during the free dining this month and last month and the free dining price was cheaper than the friends' price) and the friends had to take the tour.

Other than those, I haven't heard of any others.

Only offered if sales feel flat, which they haven't. With demand comes less incentives. If people could get together and stop buying for a while, the prices would drop and we could get all kinds of special deals.
