Any incentives for DVC members on Disney Cruise Line?

We are new DVC members and did not purchase our points to use on Disney Cruise Line because we know the value isn't there compared to using points for DVC properties...however, we have noticed lots of DVC door magnets on staterooms on every one of our cruises-and we have heard of a special "DVC" cruise. Are there ever special offers for DVC members (a points-reduced DVC cruise, for example) or are these just more likely folks who've saved up enough points and don't want to pay cash? Just curious. Thanks.

Its funny because just few days ago i logged in to the dvcmember website and check on the points chart, i noticed that they have a winter/fall offer for 3,4, & 7 nights cruises which is reduced by 6-8 points but just now i checked it's gone. We're going this June and Oct at WDW, and i'm thinking if i can squeeze in 3 night cruise since points are reduced but now ITS GONE!

Same thing here..I was thinking about the Oct 4th Wonder..they were only there a few days because i have been looking a lot trying to decide

On our Dec cruise, they had a DVC meet. They gave away some small prizes and passed out a sheet that offered to book a future cruise using less points. But you had to book within a (I think) 5 days from the end of the cruise.
