We are going to DLP at the start of the Christmas Season 2008 this November.
My daughter will be turning 3yrs old 2 days after our visit.

We are planning to book the CAFE MICKEY and a Birthday Cake and ask cafe mickey if they would mind putting a couple of Mickey Mouse Themed Party Hats, blowers on our table before we arrive for dinner.

We have booked the ''Character Tea'' although we wont have a Birthday Cake there as we will have one at CAFE MICKEY.

I was also going to phone our Hotel and ask how much they would charge to put balloons in our room with a Disney Birthday card signed by the Characters.... (Not sure if they will do that for us because we are staying at the ''DREAM CASTLE HOTEL'')

I read on another post that someone got that done for their sons 4th Birthday, but they stayed in the NPB Hotel which is a Disney Hotel so not sure if Dream Castle will do the same as they are not a Disney Hotel.

Does anyone have any other nice ideas to make my daughters Birthday special????? :woohoo:

They might not be able to help with Characters card but it would be worth asking as hopeully they will do their best to make the room special :goodvibes

Im thinking to wrap up a couple of Disney Presents...
Some Disney Princess bits and bobs and mickey mouse teddy etc...
To put in our room for her to open :cool1:

Any other ideas anyone ????

Im getting over excited and carried away i think hehehehe! :rotfl:

You could always ask City Hall if they can get you a card signed by the characters.

Im getting carried aswell, i want to make Kyras 4th Birthday really special even if i have to go a month before her birthday it still be worth it :)

Definately worth it! Probably the best Birthday prezzy a child could have :woohoo:
and its something you can enjoy with them too.
We are going on the 10th of NOV and coming home on the 14th so wont actually be there for hannahs actual birthday either as its on the the 17th Nov so only a few days before but its something they will remember and it will be soooo special.
I will ask City Hall about a card etc...
Just gting excited and carried away with all the planning of the holiday, i just cant wait!!!
Have you been to WDW before or just the Paris one???
If so which would you say is better and you like the best???

I've been WDW twice and DLRP once and i can honestly say DLRP really did it for me, i love the place. And if given the chance to go either WDW or DLRP i would chose DLRP hands down.
To me its just more magical :wizard:

Dont get me wrong i love WDW but i would only go there if i won the lottery lol and i would prob end up spending 14 days there at Seaworld or Discovery Cove as im obsessed with Dolphins lol. I may take Kyra WDW when she is alot older tho but for now DLRP is enough for us :)

Thats what we have decided, to stick to DLP while Hannah is young and when she is much older, old enough to go on all the rides and able to cope with lots of walking etc... we will hopefully save to go to WDW.
I think when she 10 / 11 yrs old...
I Think for most people WDW is a trip of a life time, we could never afford to go every year.
Where as DLP is convient and near and also you can go on a budget!
But still have the feeling of the magic... ;)

Completly agree :goodvibes
I will prob save up to take Kyra when she is 10/11, right now she just wouldnt appreciate it, or the heat and the amount of walking.
I love it that its only 2 hours from where i live to the magic :rotfl: :wizard:

Im taking Kyra for a birthday cake this year at Cafe Mickey, your little girl will love it. The atomosphere is fantastic and the characters are great :goodvibes

most people ( who go to / have been to WDW) say its almost as cheap to go to florida for 2 weeks !!

DLRP is expensive in comparison

staying onsite and flying i suppose it is !

:offtopic: :confused3 not according to my calculations

nor mine lol

but people have reported getting fab deals to florida, during term time i guess ??
and it costs them almost the same as a 3 day trip to DLRP would be !!

I have to admit some of the packages to DLRP are very pricey ! ( the ones ive looked at anyway before you all disagree ;) !!)

Id take a 2 hour trip via Eurostar to the magic than a 9 hour flight anyday :)

:goodvibes We went for our DD's 4th birthday and we put a dress in the wardrobe we'd bought from the Disney store and said the Princesses had left it for her .

We then went to ADC for lunch. It was a lovely day ;)
