Hiya I'm sooo excited off to DLP on Tues, Yay, can't wait. Me DH, DD5 & DS3

Could anyone recommend a good spot to watch the parade, I think I read somewhere that a good place was near belle notradame or did I dream this.

Any tips and advice would be appreciated for us 1st timers.

Thanks

Dawn

Bella Notte Restaurant if you want to see the Prince/Princesses parade stop.

Castle Stage if you want to see the Villains parade stop and have a seat.

In between the entrance to Adventureland and Frontierland (at the top of Main Street) again it's a Prince/Princess stop.

I'm not sure if there are any others, perhaps someone whose been more recently can clarify. :)

If you look on DLRP magic site and find the info about the parade there is info on there about all the parade stops and which floats stop where.
The advantage of watching from near Bella Notte is its near the beginning so when the parade has passed you can hit the rides again whilst others are still watching further down the route.

To be even more specific for any princess fanatics, if you want to see Jasmine and Snow White dance, sit (or stand) by the benches opposite Bella Notte. If you want to see Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella dance, stand further up towards IASW. Imagine the float stopping outside the icecream shop, and the princesses dance on each side. This is how it was both times we watched - I guess they might change it though!
Belle and Ariel stay on the float.

belle notradame is a good spot especially for princess fans which my daughter is. the first time we grabbed a spot opposite plaza gardens as it was in the shade, as of the second, third and fourth time we watched by belle notradame, it is good as you do get to see the parade finish and move on whilst a lot are still watching and you get to see the princesses her are some photos i took so you can see what i mean.

Echo about opposite Bella Notte, we've watched a few from there. by that pink gateway/turret thing.

This time we watched it from the raised area by the Small World queue, which worked perfectly, tho you are a little way back from the parade so might not suit everyone :goodvibes

I've just looked at the parade route map on DLRP Magic's site and am a bit confused (doesn't take much).

When we go in December, I'm going to give the Bella Notte spot a try as DD loves the princesses, so I'm sure she'll love to see them get off the float and dance. If we're standing there, will we be able to see all the other floats? Do they start from Bella Notte's end? We have watched the parade before from in front of Casey's Hot Dog place and also near the train station on Main Street USA, so don't really have a clue where the 'starting point' of the parade is

(Am preparing myself for next trip lol)

Yes you will be able to see all the floats from there.
The parade starts from just before Bella Notte - next to Its a Small World theres some large gates and the parade comes from through there.
It goes passed Belle Notte, round in front of the castle stage where the stone seats are, to the front of the castle, then heads down main street.
At a certain point all the floats stop and some characters get off and dance so depending where you are standing depends on which float stops near you and who dances.
In fact I think the parade stops twice so those standing round the castle hub get to see 2 stops - lots of dancers whereas those who watch it from Belle Notte end only see one as the first stop is the last float if you see what I mean.

Ahh brill... thanks for that:thumbsup2 ! Me understand now.:)

Does anyone have a map or something listed where they stop during the parade? Or can list the stops?

Does every parade start at the same place? How may times a day is the parade?

I don't know the stops I'm afraind, but would also love to see details if there are any.

The parade is once a day (at 5pm I believe) and always starts from the big gates by It's a small world and ends up by the park entrance.

You can see the parade route on dlrpmagic.com, but I couldn't find any information about the stops on there.

There is info on DLRP magic about the parade stops.
Go to the site, click on section on left about once upon a dream parade, go to bottom and click onDream by dream guide
Scroll right down to the bottom of this page and a map appears showing you where all the floats are at the time. In the parade info itself it explains about each float- what it represents and what happens at the stop

Amazing! Thank you!!! I am so waiting at the float 1 and 6 stop (just by the castle entrance!) I vbet I have to be there like 45 mins early though!!!

[Edit: not the castle entrance, the other side of the Plaza, between the Mickey Pizza and brioche shops!!]

I usually stand at the end of the parade to see Mickey and gang get off, but i think in September we will be standing where the Princesses get off aswell.
