Any ideas for transportation to and from Newark Airport(NJ)>

Any suggestions for transportation to and from Central Nj to the airport that does not cost that much for a group of two adults and two kids? Towncar service, Overnight parking? Etc. Etc. Thanks

If I were you, I would drive and park at Avistar by the airport.

We used their facilities at JFK around Xmas and were very happy with them. I found it via this board. You can do a search on avistar to get other people's comments.

We always drive to the airport ourselves and then park in the extended park parking lot. It is about $8./day. It is always nice to come home from a trip and have our own car waiting for us.

another vote for avistar! drive yourself there, they then shuttle you to the terminal. when you come back, get your bags, call the shuttle, they bring you to your car.

and with the AAA discount or entertainment club it's less than a 1 way limo trip!

We used to park in the Monorail lots which were a little more expensive but very convenient. But the rates have gone through the roof!!($20.00/day!!) This trip we will probably use the long term lot (still $10.00/day), I would use Avistar but I really hate to wait for shuttle buses. If I"m reading it right Avistar is $13.95/day with the first day is half price. Long term parking at the airport is cheaper for me.

We use Hurley Limosine. They are located in the Scotch Plains area and are fairly reasonable, for a car service (about $60-$65 for your needs). They have always been very reliable.
