Hi any suggestions for what we could place in our hospitality bags? I would like to stay away from the usual water and quick snack..since most are staying for a week or more. Thanks.

I have read about all sorts of hospitality bag items. A few of the standouts are as follows:

Bottled Water
Pretzels/Chips/Cookies/Crackers/Candy/Nuts
Empty Sports Bottles
Suntan Lotion
Band-Aids
Moleskin
Handheld Fans (Battery Operated)
Disposable Cameras
Disney Dollars
Plush Toys
Customized T-Shirts
Flip-Flops
Beach Towels
Spa Gift Certificates
Miniature Golf Gift Certificates
Customized Tote Bags

I know that you don’t want water or snacks, however, guests always appreciate the gesture (and most will devour the food and beverages within the first day). As to the other items, only you know your guests. Think long and hard about what sort of items they like. Tailor each hospitality bag to their personality. If that is too much trouble, then think of a few common items that most of them would appreciate. Add those items to the hospitality bags.

Try not to fret too much about this (I know, much easier said than done!). Your guests are attending your wedding out of love. They honestly won’t care whether or not a hospitality bag was waiting for them in their resort room. By the way, congratulations on your upcoming wedding.

I see from your signature that you are already married. If that is true, a belated congratulations to you (!!) and an upcoming congratulations to whoever's wedding you are planning.

Poncho
Sun cream sachets
Mini sewing kit
Corkscrew
Disney playing cards
Disney plush’s
Sweets
Folder with maps, crosswords, hidden Mickey’s etc
Welcome letter
Disney pez dispensers

These are what i plan to put in my welcome bag :thumbsup2

Mine were all different. I desperately tried to keep the price of them to a minimum...everyone received a door hanger for their room and those rooms with a coffee pot got a one pot sized pampered chef coffee bag. Most of the stuff i got from disneydeals.com, which I do not think exists any more. I tried to personalize the bags a little...I learned that you don't have to put much in...it really is the thought that counts!

I don't know if this helps, but I just bought some carriage shaped soaps off of ebay for my hospitality bags and I'm putting butter mints in sheer bags.

for her June DFTW in addition to some of the ideas above DD put
"castle" shaped soaps in little cellophane bags
personalized tea bags and waterbottles
"LOVE" tins with white mickey and minnie mints
ponchos
disney suckers
mickey cookies
Itinerary Folder with WDW info, wedding day itinerary, bus p/u schedule etc, rehearsal info (just for wedding party and parents)

It all was more than enough and her guests loved them!
Probably the hit of the whole idea was the bag- she used black canvas drawstring backpacks that had a detachable mickey head with their names and praphics and then a welcome letter on the back. Too cute. We saw
Everyone using their bags so it was money well spent!

It really is the thought that counts and totally unexpected by your guests unless they are visitors to this board!

My brother-in-law and his wife didn't have a Disney wedding, but they did get married in Florida last year. All of their guests had baskets in their hotel rooms which included beach towels embroidered with their names and the wedding date. Also had tubes of sunscreen with their names and wedding date for each guest. Everyone thought they were so cool. Beach towels were fabulous and easy to pack for our return home.
